I pace back and forth trying to come up with a plan that doesn't involve handing Finn's head over to the grounders.

"What're thinking about?" Bellamy asks.

"I know we talked but— Bellamy there's no possible way of Finn getting out of this. Unless the grounders let us handle the charges ourselves. . .they're gonna torture him to death,"

"That's not going to happen," he says.

I bite my lip and continue to pace. He grabs my shoulders, stopping me. "Hey, we're gonna figure out another way,"

I push his hands off. "What if there is no other way! Bellamy, I have been running every possible scenario over in my head and it all leads to him dying!"

Bellamy pauses. I can tell he was beginning to come up with an idea and my hopes rise ever so slightly.

"Come on. We gotta find Finn," He says.

Finn was with Clarke in the corridor of the ship. We make our way over to them and they greet us with worried looks on their faces.

"Finn you need to go," Bellamy tells him.

"Go? Where?"

"The drop ship,"

Clarke shakes her head. "No, this is the safest place for him right now,"

"I'm with Bellamy on this," I say. "The people are turning on him. Sooner or later no ones gonna have second thoughts on tossing Finn out to the crows,"

"We'll be able to protect him better there,"

Clarke sighs reluctantly and agrees to help Finn escape to the one place we use to consider home.

"If I do this, none of you can come with me,"

"What are you talking about, Finn?"

"We're surrounded. It'll be easier for me to go alone," he says.

"No," I shake my head. "We'll split up and meet there,"

"You!" A voice echos from down the hall. We turn our attention to a man coming at us with a metal pipe. "You're gonna get us killed!" He sneers.

The man goes to swing the pipe at Finn but Bellamy steps in. He hits the man in the stomach with the butt of his gun.

My eyes shift around the unsettling scene, "We have to go, now."

After grabbing ourselves some gear, we head for Raven's gate.

"Took you long enough," she says. "Come on,"

We slip through the gate unnoticed and head for the tree line.

I stop to catch my breath briefly and turn to the others. "Okay, we need to split up,"

"Clarke, you and Finn take the south perimeter. We'll meet you there,"

They follow Bellamy's orders while the rest of us take off in the opposite direction.

My jacket brushes against Bellamy's arm as we walk side by side. Silence hangs over our heads and thoughts pound at my skull in an excruciating manner.

"You alright?" Bellamy asks.

I carefully glance back at Raven who was in her own little world as we made our way through the dense forest. Leaning closer to Bellamy, I whisper, "We aren't going to be able to hide him forever. Sooner or later—"
