A/N: Hello, my internship and other classes are taking a lot of my time, but I am organizing myself to have a new chapter every Monday. Hopefully, I can finish this AU by the end of next month, if I don't keep adding new chapters, lol.

Please remember that Fenux disease and other symptoms are my pure creation and not the actual illness. PCTTO.

A month before...

After the uncomfortable encounter with Dr. Sam so early in the morning. Gulf needed to step away, away from the people around him. "Why is it so loud today?" Gulf asked himself to announce. The hospital's noise level was the same; the only difference was Gulf's own emotions.

Gulf felt someone was watching him as he walks away. He did not need to look back to see who was glancing at him. Those eyes felt more like eagle eyes looking at his prey.

The nurses were still suspended in midair; well, it seems that way since none of them move. Now, Dr. Sam allowed them to start talking again about what's going on in the hospital. Even after what happened with Mild, Manow, and other nurses a few months back, they broke the HIPPA's regulations.

The nurses still talk; they spend most of their time together; it is bound to happen. The only difference is that they are more discreet to talk about what's going on around them.

Gulf ignores the uncomfortable sensation and walks away. He needed to be by himself; he needed to think, "I need time, I need, I have to talk to Sam, but I can't right now, I just can't do it." He just passes by nurse Mild who greets him; Gulf unintentionally ignores him.

Mild turned around, surprised to see Dr. Sullivan walked by him, looking more like a man going to his death.

PA: "Katie Douglas, please come to radiology. Katie Douglas, please come to radiology."

Nurse Mild once again turned around, but now he is looking at Manow with a confused expression.

"Nurse Manow, what happened to Dr. Sullivan? He seems off?" Nurse Mild leaned over the counter and placed the medical charts of two patients on the counter, next to his computer.

Manow looked at Mild, who now is sitting down in front of his computer, entering the system's information.

As he types, Manow pulled the other chair and sits down. "Nurse Mild, I really don't know what's going on. I just noticed Dr. Sam leaning closer to Dr. Gulf. I could not hear what they were talking about, but Dr. Gulf seems uncomfortable."

Mild stops typing and moved his body sideways to face Manow. "It must have been something really important or bad for him to react that way. We know he really does not like to be around many people, but Dr. Sam is his friend. Anyway, if he wants our help, he will ask for it. Let's just keep working and take care of the children." Nurse Mild turned and began to type again.

Manow was not surprised by Mild's reaction; he is Mild. "You are right; let's keep working and hope everything it's okay."

No one noticed Dr. Sam was still standing there. "Gulf, why can't I even touch, you know? What's going on with you?" Sam cannot believe that Gulf, the man that is always willing to listen to her. The man that, no, her friend that would pick up her phone calls and texts. Now he is distancing himself from her; she can feel it and does not like it.

Sam stormed out of the nurses' station and walked to her office. She needed to cool down before she could start her rounds. One of the best ways to calm down was to listen to Prelude in C major by Bach. Her mom's favorite song as she remembers when she was little.
