Side note: Leave some tissues for the next chapter as well. Last time you will cry because of sadness, I promise, honor scout (I am not actually one, lol).

                                                             ****Start of Flashback***

Gulf was hurt, his chest felt crushed by all the emotions inside of him. He got up, the room was closing on him, he needed to escape, but to go where?

Gulf chest was in turmoil, his breathing was not helping him to calm down. His life was a disaster, just like the pieces of his phone, scatter around the room.

"He left, he left me behind. Just when I need him the most, he left me." Gulf felt his head spinning, his strength was leaving his body, just like all the people he loves.

His vision was fuzzy, he closed his eyes, trying to hold on to something, but his body was too weak. He was drifting away, he felt like a boat capture by a wave. Being toss around, at the mercy of the unforgivable waves. Coming at him one by one, slamming him, unable to escape the force.

He needed an anchor to keep him safe, centered. He knew that Mew, his family, and Laura were the only ones capable of doing that.

"Help!"

He tried to speak up, but his voice failed him, he knew it, he was falling, he was going down, no one there to help him. To offer him a helping hand.

He needed someone to capture him, to bring him back to shore. He needed a buoy, to guide him to safety, a glimpse of hope to tell him that he was safe.

Stretching his hand, trying to hold on to the chair he remembered was to his left, he could not do it. He gave up, he was waiting for his body to hit the floor, but suddenly, he felt his body being pulled back up.

His right hand touching something firm, he opened his eyes, trying to adjust it.

"Mew?" Gulf questioned in a fainted voice.

Unbeknownst to Gulf, Mew was behind the door, unable to move his feet to leave the apartment. He knew Gulf was being hurt by his decision. Even when he had his reasons, he could not stand seeing Gulf like that.

Mew saw how Gulf got up from the bed but began to lose his balance and began to move backward. Mew knew he needed to react fast before Gulf hit the floor.

He ran to the room; he was able to pull Gulf before hitting the floor. Holding him close to his chest, where he wanted to keep him all the time.

"Mew?"

Gulf rested his head on Mew's chest, listening to his heart. Gulf felt an instant sense of peace, he was happy, he wanted to stay there. Closing his eyes, he smiled, and his body lost the last drop of strength it had left.

Mew looked down at him, he could feel the heat even through his clothes.

Mew manage to take Gulf back to bed, even when he was as well, feeling weak, unwell.

Mew covered Gulf again, staring at him for a moment. Admiring the man in front of him, tracing his facial features.

That face, captured his heart the moment they met in front of the cafeteria.
