Nathan's POV
Most relationships begin with a name. When someone tells you their name, it opens up a way to get to know them. It's an opportunity to learn more about the person behind the name. Usually, it's a two way street where one person opens up and the other does the same, hence a relationship starts to grow.Alexander Christos; I have a name. But there will be nothing normal about this. He didn't willingly tell me his name. If anything he has been hiding from me all my life. Like Chris said, it suggests an unwillingness on his part. In this relationship I'll be the only willing party sad to say. It makes my heart heavy with anxiety but at the same time I remain curious to know him.
I gently wiped the sand from her face. She's a beautiful girl with a body to die for. I'm struggling not to stare at her breasts. She looks good in the yellow bikini. Marianna exhibits a measure of shyness when i look at her but I sense she's a firecracker. Her eyes are always bright with curiosity. I almost want to tell her everything there is to know about me. Almost. "Was it as bad as you thought?"
We got here much earlier. I went over the house she's staying in to steal her away. I want to have fun with her but at the same time, I need her help with something.
The petite little flower smiled brilliantly. "It was fun." She admitted. "Surfing is fun as long as it's with you."
I promised Chris I'll back off. It seems I lied. I can't help myself when I find her intriguing. She excites me.
"Good." I pushed a strand of stray of hair away from her face. My fingers just want to touch her. They're burning with need to feel the natural tanned beauty. "I need your help with something."
"What?"
"What are the chances that you are a great actress?"
"I'm always up for a challenge Nate." She beamed.
I looked towards the other end of the beach. There's a man sitting on a surf board reading a book. I usually wouldn't read much into it except that it's a familiar scene. I do the same thing after I surf. "Do you see that man wearing a black hat over his head?"
Marianna peered in that direction. "I see him. What do you need?"
"I'm going to drown."
"Dio! Don't say things like that!" She chided me.
"I'm going to pretend I'm drowning. I need you to get that man in particular to save me."
She looked around the entire beach. It's still early in the morning. There is only a handful of people. "What if the lifeguard sees you first?"
"He left a few seconds ago. He does that every morning around this time. He'll be back in an hour or so."
"How do you know that?"
"Simple. I'm always in Amalfi if not Greece."
"I have lived in Italy for... long yet I have never been to Amalfi. I think I can get that man to save yoi."
"Alright. Wish me luck."
"Absolutely not. I don't want you to drown. I still need to learn how to surf."
I left her side and dived into the water. If Helena was here she would say I'm nuts. She says I have a flare for the dramatics and she's happy I'm not a woman. It should have been easier to just walk up to him and go like: 'hey dad! How have you been the last twenty five years?' But nothing is that easy.
Alexander's POV
Another good read. Nothing puts a smile on my face like completing a good book. I have something new to add in my collection.
