At 4:25 in the morning I got a missed call from Adam. I struggled to see in the dark from my bright screen. I got out of the warm bed and walked to the living room, quickly I called Adam back. The phone rings, rings and rings and just before thirty seconds he answers but it's hard to understand him.
"Hey, Adam. You okay?" I ask looking out the window.
"Autumn-" He pauses.
"Yeah." I say.
"This is hard for me to say but-" He says then stops.
"W-what is it?" I stutter a bit.
"She passed away." He finishes. I just stand there blankly looking out the window. Still in shock I manage to respond back.
"H-how?" I ask holding back tears.
"She... she had internal bleeding in the lungs." He says. I sit in silence for about ten minutes.
"I'm going to get some sleep, but I'll call you tomorrow." He says.
"Alright" I say faintly and on that note he hangs up.
I click the lock button on my phone then weakly walk to the guest bedroom. I lay in the bed hugging a pillow as a couple of tears roll down my face landing on the pillow.

I wake up and see Chandler is sitting at the end of the bed.
"Hey." I say in a tired voice.
"I heard." He says quietly. I just stare at him as he turns around and begins to hug me tightly. I sob quietly into his neck and he rubs my back.
"I'm so sorry for your loss." He says. Me too I think to myself.
