Around 11:58 P.M. Chandler switches the T.V. to the News channel as I hurry to the kitchen to grab some popcorn. The ball begins to drop; people begin to count down from ten. So I quickly walk into the living room giving popcorn to my aunt and her husband Adam. I sit down by Chandler and he wraps his arm around me. People on the television hit 1 then shout Happy New Year! I look over to Chandler and start to say 'Happy New Year' but he kisses me before I could finish 'New Year'. I blush as he looks at me smiling I notice he's blushing too.
"New Year." He finishes for me.
Our eyes meet and we look over to see my aunt still kissing Adam.
"Ah, young love." I say jokingly.
"True that." He says laughing and I laugh with him.
