In the car I'm sitting by Chandler in the backseat. He slowly intertwines his fingers with mine. I look at him then I look out the window.
"You okay?" He asks.
"Yeah. I'm fine." I say.
"You're sure?" He asks.
"I'm good." I say with a forced smile turning to look at him.
"Okay. Want to listen to music?" He asks.
"What kind?" I ask.
"I like Zedd." He says.
"Same!" I exclaim while smiling.
"So, want to listen?" He asks handing me one of his earphones.
"Of course." I say as I put it into my ear.

We stop at Taco Bell to eat. I order a chicken quesadilla and a strawberry freeze. Chandler orders a Doritos Locos Taco with a Baja blast and his mom just orders a Baja blast.
"Thank you." I say to her.
"You're welcome." She says in return.
"Thanks mom." Chandler says.
"Welcome Chan." She says smiling.
"So, how long have you and Chan been together?" She asks.
"About a mon-" I was cut off by Chandler.
"Mom, really." He says.
"I was just wondering." She says giggling to herself.
"Not now." He says.
"Sorry. Anyway, you guys ready for some fun?" She asks.
"What do you mean?" He says.
"I have some plans for us all." She says smiling.
"Like what?" I ask.
"Like going to the museum!" She says excitedly.
"Mom, that's for old people." Chandler says in a groan.
"I think it would be fun." I say looking at Chandler.
"I agree." She says.
"I guess." He says looking at us both.
"Shall we?" She asks.
"We shall." I say giggling.
