A/N: Double update. Please read Chapter 8 first.
The next morning, Jimin and Jungkook showed up around 9 bringing breakfast for the two girls. Cheyenne opened the door to them, her hair a mess and still in her yellow bunny onesie.
Jimin laughed while Jungkook gave her an amused look. "Did you just wake up?" he asked.
Cheyenne nodded. "Well you would still be sleeping if someone's soulmate decided to keep you up until 4 AM," she said, rubbing her eyes and yawning. She pulled the door wider, inviting the two boys in. Cheyenne pointed to the sleeping form on the couch then headed to the bathroom to try and tame her wild curls.
Jimin and Jungkook made their way towards their soulmate. Jimin leaned forward and moved her hair off her neck, kissing the back of it. Jungkook sat on the edge of the couch and tickled her sides. The girl whined in her sleep, eliciting a laugh from both of them. She recognized the laughs and forced herself to sit up. Her eyes lit up when she saw her soulmates in front of her. She hugged Jungkook first, kissing his cheek then moving to Jimin and giving him the same treatment. Jimin pouted at the chaste kiss, but the girl shook her head. "Not until I brush my teeth," she said, shrugging her shoulders.
Jimin held up the bag in his hand. "Your amazing soulmates brought you breakfast," he said.
Jungkook pointed to the cups on the table. "And a vanilla chai tea for you and a peppermint mocha latte for Cheyenne," he said.
"Did you say peppermint mocha latte?" Cheyenne asked. "You may have just become my favorite person."
Jungkook laughed. "Are they your favorite too?" he asked.
Cheyenne nodded her head, a smile on her face. "Yes. They really are," she said.
Jimin gave her a smile. "We weren't sure what to get you, but Hobi was at the coffee shop and recommended this. Apparently it's his favorite too," he explained with a shrug.
Jungkook didn't miss the look that passed between his soulmate and Cheyenne. He wanted to ask but he didn't think Cheyenne would appreciate him butting into her business.

The next morning, Hoseok was already in the studio when Cheyenne arrived. They had met last Wednesday and decided on a song for the competition. Hoseok wanted to get started as soon as possible and was happy when Cheyenne agreed to meet him on Sunday for the first time. He gave her a bright smile and was surprised when she returned a tentative one of her own. Over the last week, he felt they had become friends so he was surprised at her hesitation.
"Morning," Cheyenne said, her voice clearly not happy. She had talked to her dad the night before. He was trying to convince her to meet with him and meet his new wife. A wife who did not have the same soulmate mark. Although her mom had moved on and was happy, Cheyenne still held a sense of resentment for her father and the way he had broken up their family. She had no interest in meeting with him or his wife.
"You okay?" Hoseok asked. He could tell something was off with her this morning. She was clearly upset and there was something in his heart that hated to see her that way.
Cheyenne gave a shrug. "Not really. But I will be," she said, her voice conveying her reluctance to talk about it.
Hoseok gave her a smile and patted her shoulder. "If you need me, I'm here. And I'm a great listener," he said, wanting to comfort the pretty dancer.
Cheyenne gave him a more genuine smile. "Thanks Hobi. I appreciate it," she replied. "Let's talk about this competition."
Hoseok smiled at the slick way she changed the topic. They had picked Lambada to dance to. It was a sexy song and would require some pretty provocative moves, but the competition was going to bring in some of the best dancers in the country. They would need to dance to impress.
They sat on the floor in the studio and played the track they had chosen. They had decided to listen to it a couple of times and see what kind of moves would come naturally with it. Hoseok stood at one point and was going through some moves that he thought might work. He called Cheyenne to him and directed her to stand in front of him. He placed himself behind her, putting his hands on her waist, and rolling his hips into her. She naturally followed the movement and Hoseok could see the flush on the back of her neck.
Cheyenne could feel her face becoming hot. She was glad she had on long sleeves or her secret would be out sooner than she wanted it to be. She turned to Hoseok then realized just how close they were and moved back a step. "I like that move. It's provocative without being over the top and inappropriate," she said, her voice a pitch higher than normal.
Hoseok smiled on the inside at the reaction. He knew he threw her off balance. It wasn't on purpose but he was glad it happened. There was something that was drawing Hoseok to her and he couldn't figure it out. "Okay good. We'll add that one," he said.
Cheyenne sat down on the floor listening to the song, her mind caught up in the music. She stood again and called Hoseok over. "What about this for the ending?" She pulled Hoseok in close, one arm around his neck and one clinging to his shirt. She wrapped a leg around his hip, pulling him close.
Hoseok placed one hand below her thigh and the other in the middle of her back. "Like this?" he asked, his voice husky.
Cheyenne nodded, her face flushing at his proximity. Their faces were inches apart. So close that the scent from Hoseok's mint toothpaste filled her nose. His cedar cologne washed over her and she wanted to bury her face in his neck.
Hoseok gazed down at her, desperate to close the inches and press his lips to hers. He wanted to kiss her so bad but knew he couldn't.
Cheyenne dropped her leg and stepped back, releasing his shirt. She was trying to calm her erratic breathing and slow her racing heart. "Um... do... do you think that will work?" she asked, refusing to make eye contact with Hoseok.
Hoseok nodded. "Yeah. The whole song is so sexy that I think it would be a perfect ending," he said, his voice husky. He could tell she was unsettled again. Part of him was frustrated that they had chosen such a provocative song, but he was excited to get out of his comfort zone and be close to this beautiful girl.
Cheyenne looked down at her watch, surprised that the hour they had reserved had gone by so quickly. "When would you like to meet again?" she asked, hoping that Hoseok would say soon.
Hoseok gave her a smile. "How about we meet Tuesday evenings and Sunday mornings?" he asked. He was hoping she would agree since he had already booked those two days in the studio. He would have liked to meet with her, but the receptionist said that they could only book two days a week.
Cheyenne nodded. "Both of those are fine with me," she replied. She picked up her bag, sticking her phone into it. "So I guess I'll see you tomorrow?"
Hoseok nodded. "Are you heading home right now?" he asked. Cheyenne nodded. "Can I give you a ride?"
Cheyenne shook her head. "Thanks but you don't have to do that," she replied. "I don't mind walking."
Hoseok rolled his eyes in amusement. "It's not that big of a deal. We're neighbors. I'm literally going to the exact same place," he said, not giving in.
Cheyenne smiled at his words. "If it's not too much trouble then sure," she said, trying to hide her excitement at getting to spend more time with him.
Hoseok's bright smile returned. "I want to," he replied. Although he knew he should pull away, something was drawing him to the beautiful dancer. As much as his mind was saying this was wrong, his heart was telling him that it was so right.
