At his words, Cheyenne's heart dropped. This wasn't what she wanted, not at all.  She had thought she had more time. She was going to explain it to him on Sunday, tell him exactly why she had hid it from him and had hoped he would understand about it.

Jimin looked down at his sweet soulmate who was watching Cheyenne with a worried look on her face. "It's going to be alright baby. Hobi is a good person. He... he was just hurt. Hurt that she knew and kept it from him. He's letting the anger control him right now so the pain doesn't."

The girl smiled sadly, but nodded her head.  "I know but I understand where she was coming from.  I remember being so afraid to tell Kookie.  Hobi knew and he kept my secret.  I'm... I'm just hoping he will be just as understanding to his own soulmate."

Nodding his head, Jimin kissed the top of head.  "You're right and I agree with you.  I really think they will be fine.  He needs time."

The seven of them went into the house, the mood quiet, their previous merriment and elation for celebrating the upcoming wedding subdued.  Cheyenne ran a hand through her hair, guilt overflowing her.  Sitting on the sofa, she twisted her fingers in her lap.  "I'm... I'm really sorry.  I didn't mean to ruin everyone's night."

Jin sat next to her on the sofa, wrapping an arm around her shoulder.  "Sweetie, you didn't ruin anything.  You couldn't have possibly known that Hobi was going to find out or react in that manner.  None of us could have predicted this."

Joining Jin and Cheyenne on the sofa, Namjoon nodded.  "Jinnie's right.  No one could have known how this was going to turn out.  So don't worry about it."  He patted Jin's knee.  "Plus my Jinnie's not a partier so he was probably almost ready, if not ready, to head home anyways."

Cheyenne smiled at his words, feeling slightly better about the whole situation, but the guilt was still threatening to consume her.  Not just guilt for the quick ending to the evening, but guilt at not telling Hoseok sooner.  She should have just confessed when she had the chance.  The idea of him turning her down and rejecting her had terrified her.  Over the last few weeks she had started to develop feelings for him and the idea of losing him now was too much to take in.

Listening quietly as the rest talked, Cheyenne finally looked down at her phone.  "I... I think I'm going to head home," she said quietly.  She wasn't sure if she really wanted to be alone but she knew she need the time to think about everything.

Jungkook caught his soulmate's eye and nodded his head then she turned to Jimin and saw the same thing.  Smiling softly at the unspoken agreement between them, she turned to Cheyenne.  "Stay here tonight.  You don't need to be alone.  Stay here with us and let us care for you."

Cheyenne's heart lifted at the offer, the tears threatening to fall again at the offer.  Hoseok had been their friend longer, but they were still willing to help her, sympathize with her and it made her smile a little brighter.  "Are... are you sure?"

Jungkook nodded.  "Yes.  The spare bedroom is empty and the bed is comfortable.  You can even ask Yoongi."

Yoongi nodded, knowing the humor was needed at a time like this.  "I consider myself a connoisseur of fine bedding and that one is quite remarkable.  Just the right amount of softness."

Taehyung grinned at his soulmate.  "You're so silly babe, but I love it."  He looked over to Cheyenne and saw the small smile on her face.  He felt terrible for the girl, but knew that Hoseok had to find out sooner or later.  However, just like the others, he wished there would have been a better reaction.  Did Hoseok have a right to be angry?  Sure.  Taehyung just hoped he wouldn't let it consume him and end up making the wrong decision, a decision that would affect both of their lives.
