Sofia Snape's POV
Draco and I both reached for our clothes, putting them on in a hurry followed by patting our hair down to look as normal as possible. Draco popped his collar upwards, wrapping his tie around his neck, and tightened it with force. I was caught in a trance- staring at his veiny arms from a distance as they worked on the buttons leading upwards to his collar, his jawline illuminated by the dim lights, and his perfect body now covered completely.
As soon as he caught me staring, the corners of his lips turned upwards into a slight smirk, "Like what you see?" Not being able to think on the spot, I simply scoffed as I tilted my head towards the bathroom door, and began quickly walking to the door.
Twisting the handle, I opened the door to a familiar face, Fred Weasley. Immediately, a devilish smirk formed on his lips as he stepped out of my way. I was caught in awe at his handsome figure towering over me- his orange hair, a mess covering his forehead, and a lousily knotted tie around his neck. Our eyes were locked until I was broken from my trance by Blaise frantically waving at me from across the room, behind the table the three of us sat previously. And bringing me back to his presence, his voice finally pierced through the surrounding conversations and noisy laughs, "Having fun I bet?"
I could feel my cheeks growing brighter by the second, until I was reminded of Draco once more as he responded, "Plenty." After what felt like hours of the two boys staring at one another with a note of red in their eyes, Draco harshly grasped my wrist and pulled me with him towards Blaise as we maneuvered through the various crowds of people, desperately trying to make it back to our table.
In the midst of it all, I managed to tilt my neck over my shoulders, to lock my apologetic eyes with Fred's mischievous ones, but he was nowhere to be seen.
As soon as we were only inches away from our seats, and in Blaise's view, Draco let go of my wrist abruptly and threw himself back onto his chair, grabbing a hold of the nearest bottle of whiskey and immediately knocking his head back as he chugged nearly half of its content. I followed his lead, and did the same, desperately trying to forget about everything.
Being with Blaise and Draco felt like a safe space. We grew closer over the last few months and the two of them, especially together, never fail to make sure I have an enjoyable time.
"Miss Rosmerta! Can we please have... another bottle... oooh! How about 'The Triple' for the three of us? Thank youuu..." Blaise spoke with hiccups interrupting him between every phrase, making it all the more evident that we all had too much to drink that night. But it seemed as if there wasn't a care in the world.
The three of us forgot about everything except for each other.
That is, until two familiar Slytherin girls walked in giggling obnoxiously loud. It seemed as if they were making their way to the other side of the bar, allowing me to let go of the unnoticed breath I was too busy holding. "Blaisie!! Oh my god is that Dray?!" The sound of her voice immediately made my face contort as I cringed at her. She didn't even do anything, but I despised her almost immediately. Refusing to turn around, the two girls walked towards our table and each claimed a boy as they sat down on their laps. They seemed like they were already many drinks in, obvious with the way they threw themselves onto the boys.
But they were also too drunk to care. Blaise greeted the girls with a smile each, and they immediately began joking around like they were old friends, and Draco mimicked him exactly the same. I had no room to make my way into their conversations, let alone even introduce myself until they both turned around to me, almost like it was creepily choreographed. "Sofia, right?"
I nodded my head in response, desperately trying to remain as calm and civil as possible. "Nice to meet you! I'm Astoria, and this is my sister, Daphne."
