Walking over to the bathroom to get ready, I blankly brushed my teeth and splashed my face with cold water, my mind racing with thoughts. He thinks I'm beautiful?
Why did he tell that to my sleeping body?
What would've happened if I had woken up during that?
Why did he kiss my forehead?
Why wasn't it my lips?
Aggressively shaking my head to rid the intrusive ideas, I grabbed my clothes from the closet and started to put them on. As I got dressed, a short tune suddenly played from the speaker by my room's monitor.
*Ding dong, bing bong*
The screen came to life and five rainbow bears appeared, sat on their ornate couch; the exact same spots as when they said goodnight to everyone.
"Good morning students, it's time for breakfast!" they all greeted, the pink bear's voice more evident than the rest.
I decided to tune out their good morning message, already growing tired of what they had to say.
Zipping up my plaid skirt and buckling my black shoes, I looked over at my messy bed and realized that the ice skating bear was tucked halfway under the sheets, like he was snuggled in bed.
I gently grabbed him and decided to take him with me to breakfast, the thought of holding him bringing me comfort.
I turned the lights off and closed my door behind me, the air around me instantly becoming warmer as I stepped out. I sighed, hugging the bear close to my chest, the chill of my room still held in its fake fur.
"Good morning (y/n)!" Kaede greeted me from the bottom floor of the dorms, a smile on her face.
I looked down and put on a small smile in return, greeting her and starting to walk down the metal stairs.
"Hey now, where do you think you're going?" a voice accused from behind me, the sound of a closing door following it.
Knowing exactly who it was, I nervously turned to face him.
Kokichi.
Smirking at me, his eyes lowered.
My heart skipped a beat.
'Don't blush, don't blush, don't blush,' I repeatedly thought to myself as he slowly stepped down the stairs.
"Did you miss me when you woke up, locker?" he teased, the metal creaking as he walked.
I rolled my eyes and turned around, rushing to the exit so Kokichi couldn't see my face, which was seconds away from turning red.
His hand quickly grabbed my shoulder and turned me to face him.
"(Y/n) come on, talk to me," he spoke, dragging out the word 'on.'
I huffed.
"No Kokichi, I didn't 'miss' you when I woke up," I stated, attempting to keep my face emotionless.
He smirked once again, placing his hand gently under my chin and slowly pulling his mouth beside my ear.
"I can tell when you're lying, you know," he whispered lightly in my ear, sending a tingle through the length of my body.
I couldn't hide my blush anymore.
"I'm not lying," I said, moving my face away from his hand and burying it into my bear.
Kokichi laughed at my embarrassment, quickly snatching the bear away from me and running for the exit.
"Kokichi give it back!" I begged, grabbing for it back.
He held it above my head in the doorway, staring into my eyes mischievously.
"Come and get it." he teased, holding it even higher.
I huffed again, my face threatening to turn red for the hundredth time.
I suddenly felt my stomach growl, realizing that I hadn't eaten in quite a long time.
'I'm not dealing with this right now.' I thought, embarrassment, and hunger consuming my mind.
Accepting defeat, I stopped grabbing for the bear and walked off towards the direction of the dining hall, leaving Kokichi standing confused in the doorway.
Kaede simply stood in the middle of the room, staring at Kokichi and laughing.
"Well go get your girl!" she responded, Kokichi growling in response.
"She's not my girl, piano face," he replied, running to follow me.
His quick steps soon followed close behind mine, the grass crunching below his black and purple shoes.
"Something tells me that'll change soon," Kaede whispered to herself, knocking on Shuichi's door

"(y/n)," Kokichi spoke, dragging my name out.
I stayed completely silent, hoping to guilt trip him into giving my bear back.
He remained silent for a bit as well, simply examining my bear as we walked together.
"We should name it," he suddenly suggested, holding it out to me.
I looked up at his gentle expression, and then back to my bear, gingerly taking it from his hand.
"Any ideas?" I asked, knowing that I was bad at picking names.
He glanced at the bear in my hands, analyzing its appearance to find the most perfect name possible.
"Snow," he suggested, touching its pristinely white fur.
I laughed slightly, holding the bear out in front of me; Its small, light blue ribbon swayed as we walked, contrasting against its soft, white fur.
"Snow is a perfect name," I accepted, hugging it closely to my chest and smiling up at Kokichi.
I looked deeply into his eyes, the violet sparkling beautifully in the light. They were squinting in happiness, a smile reaching across his entire face, much brighter and more encapsulating than mine was. His deep purple hair fell perfectly above his shoulders, the contradicting white of his uniform seeming brighter than it was before.
Kokichi Ouma was perfect in every sense of the word, and here he was, smiling at me.
My heart beat faster when I looked at him, overcome with nervousness and excitement.
"You have pretty eyes," he suddenly spoke, still walking right beside me.
My blush was immediate, giving me no time to hide my face.
"Stop lying, liar," I teased, looking down at my scuffed shoes.
He didn't say anything else, simply smiling the rest of the walk to the cafeteria.
