*Wednesday night*
"Hey, how was your meeting with Miss. Smith?" Rei asked from the couch.
I went over and plopped down next to her and leaned into her.
"She asked me about my family. I blacked out, like literally. She ended up calling Josh from my phone, and he was there when I woke up. When I passed out I... I relived what happened with my parents that day, I sobbed in Josh's arms for probably a good 4 minutes. He finally went home though, and I finished talking with her, and she ended up giving me a ride home." I told her.
"Oh Lex.. I am so sorry. How did the rest of your guys meeting go?" She asked.
"It went fine. She's super nice, and very sweet actually. She's caring. Which you don't find too many teachers who are." I told her.
"You're keeping something from me. I can tell." She said.
"Before I got out of the car, she put her number in my phone and said if i ever needed someone to talk to I had it. She told me that if I wasn't comfortable with her doing that then I could delete her number right then and there. I didn't delete it because it was nice to know that someone else cares." I told her.
"Okay. I mean that's fine, you're allowed to do what you want. Just be careful, okay? She's still a stranger pretty much." She told me.
"I will be. I'm going to go shower and probably lay down for a bit before dinner, that alright?" I asked her.
"That's completely fine. I'll come check on you in a while." She replied, giving me a smile.
I walked upstairs and went straight to my bathroom, stripped, and jumped into the shower letting the hot water fall down my body. I quickly washed my hair, not wanting to do it but I made myself. I stood in the shower for a good 20-30 minutes, long enough to have the water not be hot anymore. I got out and put some pajamas on, hopping into bed and getting under my comforter. I pulled out my phone and texted Josh.

Hey, handsome. I know you said you wanted me to call you tonight, but I don't think I'm up for it and I hope that's okay with you. I'm just feeling a little off because of earlier.
I sat my phone down next to me and cuddled up in my comforter after turning my fan on. My eyes started getting heavy and then my phone vibrated again. I slowly opened them again and grabbed my phone.

I sent the text to him and laid my phone back down next to me, as soon as I got comfortable again my eyes instantly closed. I wasn't asleep yet but I knew it wouldn't be long before I was.
"Lex, hey." I heard Rei's voice.
I opened my eyes to see her sitting on the side of my bed.
"Hey, you wanna get up and eat?" She asked.
"What time is it?" I asked her.
"It's around 8:30. I didn't know you fell asleep until I came up here." She chuckled.
"Oh jeez. Okay, um, I'm not horribly hungry but what were you thinking?" I asked her.
"Honestly, I was just gonna make some Mac and cheese." She laughed.
"Go ahead and make a box, we can split it if you want to." I told her.
"Sounds like a plan, I'll see you when you come down." She said, leaving the room.
