*Lex's POV*
I woke up the next morning my legs tangled with Josh's as I tried to move. I smiled because he was holding me so close. I managed to get out of his arms and into my bathroom to pee, hearing some talking downstairs before I did. I walked downstairs and into the living room to see Reilly and Jen sitting on the couch cuddling under a blanket watching tv.
"Morning. How're you two feeling?" I chuckled.
"I'm tired." Rei said, leaning back into Jen.
"I'm alright. A little tired still but I'll manage." She said as she turns to Rei. "I'm gonna help Lex make some breakfast. Would you like anything?" She asked her.
"Yes please." Rei said with a smile. Sprawling across the couch as Jen got up and followed me to the kitchen.
"I didn't know I was making food." I said to her quietly.
"Yeah, Sorry about that. I wanted to check in to see how you were feeling after last night." She said, giving me a look as if to say 'I don't want to say it out loud.' Which I was thankful for.
"Oh, yeah, that. Um. I'm okay. I'm hoping it's over after last night but I just get this really odd feeling that it won't be." I told her.
We ended up deciding to make French toast as we continued talking.
"I hope it is. I still can't believe he would do that." She replied.
"I don't either. I mean we've known each other for so long Jen, and I guess I'm just so caught off guard with this whole thing that I don't even know how to feel about it." I told her truthfully.
Just as she was about to say something I felt arms around my waist and a kiss on my cheek.
"Mm. Good morning." He said with a smile.
"Good morning." I smiled back.
"What are you two talking about in here?" He asked.
I glanced up at Jen but he couldn't tell that I did.
"School stuff." She simply said.
"Ah, I see." He nodded. "I also see French toast. My favorite." He added.
I chuckled.
"Is Rei still awake?" Jen asked him.
"Nope, passed out on the couch." He said.
Jen and I both chuckled and she walked away to go wake her up.
"You doing okay?" He asked.
"Yeah, of course. Why wouldn't I be?" I asked him.
"Just with seeing him at the club last night. I didn't know how you were doing." He asked.
I wanted to tell him. I really did. But I couldn't bring myself to do it.
"Oh, yeah I'm fine. I don't think he'll be bothering me anymore." I told him.
I lied.
Rei and Jen made their way back into the kitchen and we all ate and talked about anything and everything. Eventually Jen and Josh left and Reilly and I went and showered, got dressed, and just spent the day watching tv.
"You okay?" Rei asked was we were watching a movie.
"Yeah, I'm good." I told her.
"Are you sure?" She asked me, questioning my answer.
"I'm okay Rei." I told her.
"You're lying. I can tell by your voice." She said.
I chuckled. She knows me too well.
