*Lex's P.O.V*

I walked down the hallway and couldn't shake the thoughts out of my head. His hands all over my body, what do I do now? I walked into math and sat in my seat next to Rei.

"Hey, are you okay?" She asked.

"Huh? Oh yeah. I'm fine." I told her.

"Mhm. I don't believe that but I'll let it go for now. Still up for going out tonight?" She asked.

"Yeah, gotta stop by Jens room to grab some work, but you don't have to wait up to go home." I told her.

"Alright. That's fine." She said.

"So today, you guys are going to be doing a series of problems, I've given packets to the front row person to pass back. Just do as much as you can before class is over." She told us.

We got our packets and started working. We were allowed to put music on, so I put in my AirPods and shuffled my music. Good Things Fall Apart by Jon Bellion came on and it rang through my ears.

Did I say something wrong? Did you hear what I was thinking?
Did I talk way too long when I told you all my feelings that night?

Is it you? Is it me? Did you find somebody better?
Someone who isn't me, 'cause I know that I was never your type
Never really your type

Overthinking's got me drinking
Messing with my head, whoa
Tell me what you hate about me
Whatever it is, I'm sorry

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
I know I can be dramatic
But everybody said we had it

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
I'm coming to terms with a broken heart
I guess that sometimes good things fall apart

I skipped the rest of it because I didn't want to ruin my mood more, if that was even possible. I kept working and surprisingly enough I wasn't doing too bad. Math isn't my strong suit but I'm okay at it.

The bell eventually rang and we went through our day. We sat at the lunch table and we talked about what we were planning on doing tonight.

"You're not eating. What's going on?" She asked.

"Rei it's nothing. Just not hungry." I replied.

"You're lying. But it's fine. I don't want to ruin tonight." She said.

"Me too. We haven't been out in a while." I told her.

The bell rang again after some time and we headed to the band room. We walked in and Josh's door was shut, he was talking to someone. I didn't pay it any mind, got my stuff and sat down. His door finally opened and I saw a familiar red head walk out. My heart stopped.

"We'll talk later, and see what we wanna do, sound cool?" He said to Josh.

"Sounds good man, talk to you later." He replied.

I felt sick.

Jonathan looked at me as he walked out of the band room and I tried to pay attention to Josh but it wasn't working. I couldn't stop thinking about Jonathan and it wasn't for good reasons. I didn't talk to Josh after, I couldn't handle it.

The rest of the day dragged on and soon last period was over and I was walking down the hall with Reilly to our lockers.

"So I'll meet you at home, I shouldn't be long." I told her.

"Sounds good, if you need me to come get you let me know." She said.

I hugged her and she left. I slowly walked up to Jen's room and walked in, lightly knocking on the door.
