I walked back into the kitchen looking confused.
"Was that not the carpet people?" Logan asked.
"No, it was some girl." I said, sipping more of my orange juice.
"Oh? What did she want?" Rei asked.
"She was looking for some chick named Anna. I told her there was no one hear by that name. It was just weird." I told her.
Logan choked on her orange juice.
"You okay?" I asked.
"Yeah, yeah. Sorry, forget how to drink sometimes." She chuckled.
"Well be careful. Can't have you dying on me." I laughed.
We all laughed about it and eventually the carpet people showed up and measured things, they were cable to do the living room but couldn't do the others because they didn't have enough carpet. Later that night we all decided to hang out and watch movies, Rei went to the store and bought some snacks and Logan went to her place to grab more clothes and the pop that she had so that left Jen and I at my place to hangout.
"So what did you want to talk about earlier?" I asked.
She looked over at me and was clearly nervous. It was making me nervous too.
"I really really like Reilly, with pretty much all of my being." She started.
If this is going where I think it is I am going to scream.
"I wanted to do something but obviously I wanted to talk to you first because you are her best friend and you know her better than anyone, and you know what's good and what's bad for each other." She said.
Oh my god. She's gonna do it.
"I was wondering is you would be okay with me proposing to her, I want to spend the rest of my life with her. So, what do you say?" She asked.
"The fact that you took time to ask me for my permission means a lot, even though you didn't have to. I can see how much you love her and I know you won't ever hurt her. So yes, I think yes." I told her.
"Seriously? Thank you so so much. I will have to show you the ring I'm thinking about getting and you can give me your opinion on it, on whether or not she will like it." She said, excitedly.
Just then the front door opened and Rei and a Logan came into the living room.
"Didn't have too much fun without us did you?" Rei asked.
"Oh we had tons of fun, in here, in the bathroom." I laughed.
"You're an idiot." Rei laughed.
Logan looked a little taken back by my joke, I think sometimes it's difficult for her to tell when I'm joking.
She sat down next to me and I threw a blanket over us, I laced my fingers into hers and leaned over to her ear.
"It was just a joke, promise." I whispered.
I could feel her relax, I'm sure she knew I was joking but I think she needed to hear it from me to for sure know, if that makes sense. We chose to watch all of the Harry Potter movies and Logan was geeking throughout all of them, it was honestly the cutest thing ever.
"So do either of you have plans on how to spend the rest of your spring break?" Jen asked as we all stood up to stretch.
"I don't have too much planned for spring break, but when we have that next 2 weeks off for all that remodel stuff, I am planning to go visit my parents." Logan said.
