The door bell rang and I glanced at Reilly, who seemed shocked.
"Are you going to go answer the door?" I asked her.
"Huh?" She asked.
"The door bell rang, meaning Jen is probably here. You may want to go let her in." I told her.
"Oh, right. Yeah." She said, not moving.
"Oh my goodness. I got it." I chuckled.
I went down the hall and opened the front door seeing Jen standing there typing on her phone.
"Oh, hey Alexis. I wasn't sure if anyway was home or something. No one was answering." She lightly chuckled.
"Yeah, about that." I laughed. "Reilly is kind of like, sat frozen on our couch." I added.
"Oh? And whys that?" She asked, as I motioned for her to come in.
"She's nervous." I told her.
"Why is she nervous?" She asked.
"Well for one, she really likes you. & for two, you look gorgeous right now." I replied.
"Aw, well thank you Alexis. And, she's that nervous to have me hangout huh?" She asked.
"She is. Here, I'll show you." I told her.
With that we walked into the living room only to see Reilly in the same spot she was when I left.
"See." I said. Laughing.
"Oh my goodness, you weren't kidding. She's so cute." Jen said, smiling as she admired Reilly.
"Hey!" I kinda yelled at her.
"Yeah? What?" She replied. Not realizing Jen was in the room. "Dude, I'm nervous for her to get here." She added.
"Hey there, cutie." Jen said smiling at her.
"Oh, uh, hey. When did you get here?" She asked her.
"Just now. Lex let me in." She said, taking a seat next to her on the couch.
"Oh, well okay then. I'm sorry I didn't answer the door, I'm nervous. Because you're beautiful, and your outfit looks amazing." She said all in one breath.
"Thank you Reilly. I can say the same about you." She winked.
The three of us sat there and watched some tv, and soon enough it was nearing 7:00 when Josh was suppose to be here. I remembered the picture he sent me, and I smirked to myself. I'm gonna mess with him a little bit tonight, see how it goes. Soon enough, not even 10 minutes after I was thinking about Josh and that picture, the doorbell rang again, followed by a knock.
"That's all you." Rei said, not wanting to get off the couch because Jen was cuddled into her watching tv.
"I should make you get it." I told her.
But getting up anyway, I walked to the door and opened it. Revealing a very handsome looking Josh, wearing gray khaki like pants, white shoes, and a long sleeve white shirt. God he looked so good.
"Um, hi." He said.
Poor thing. I feel bad already, but I can't give in that easy.
"Hi.." I said softly.
"So, um, about earlier -"
"I'm not sure I wanna talk about that right now.." I said, cutting him off and glancing towards the ground.
"Oh um, yeah, no that's totally fine. If that's what you want." He said.
I didn't say anything to him, instead I turned around and yelled for Reilly and Jen to let's go. They both appeared around the corner and walked to us, and then outside.
