"Okay, everybody, let's hear it for love!" Mr Schue grinned as he entered the Choir Room, which was practically bursting with Valentine's Day excitement and festivities.

"Your assignment for Valentine's week is to find and perform the world's greatest love songs. Now, Regionals is next week, and we still need to raise $250 for costumes and hair spray."

"Oh, God, not another bake sale." Kurt muttered, burying his head in his hands at the very memory.

Shaking his head, Mr Schue continued his plan. "If any student gives ten dollars, we will sing these 'world's greatest love songs' to their Valentine. We will serenade each classroom..."

He was immediately cut off by a loud chorus of protests (from everyone besides Rachel, who was strangely enthusiastic about the idea). With a firm shake of her head, Tina spoke up. "Two years ago, we went room-to-room Christmas caroling...they threw food."

"And shoes." Mike added with a tone of hurt.

Hearing their reluctance towards Mr Schue's plan, Sugar raised her hand and grinned. "Here's a spoonful of Sugar for you all. Don't sweat the small stuff, and it's all small stuff when you're rich. So, here you go."

With a tight lipped smile, she held out a (very large) wad of money in front of Mr Schue, but he just looked at it warily for a moment. "Uh, Sugar, I can't take that."

"Take it!" Kurt insisted with an expression of urgency, causing Mr Schue to hesitate for a second before accepting the money.

"Okay. Everyone, give it up for Sugar for paying for our FinalNet and cumberbunds!"

"I love the sound of applause, even if I have to buy it." Sugar sighed happily at the cheers and claps she was receiving, before continuing her announcement. Okay, everyone, look under your chairs. Except you, Artie. Your chair kept moving, so I hid your surprise in the wastebasket."

As everyone followed her instruction, they found heart shaped boxes of chocolates under their seats. Not just any chocolates, but the most expensive, luxurious boxes of chocolate that many of them had ever seen. Gasps of excitement could be heard as they opened them up, although it seemed Puck was ahead of everyone else and had nearly finished the whole box.

"I found mine ten minutes ago."

Continuing on, Sugar beamed. "V-Day is my fave day ever. And to help me celebrate, my daddy's throwing me a huge, ridic party at Breadstix. And I'm naming it the Sugar Shack. And... drumroll, Rachel... you're all invited!"

Again, everyone cheered and exchanged looks of excitement- the day just seemed to be getting better and better by the second.

"But you have to bring a date. No single people allowed. They're sad and boring and they don't exist in my world." Sugar added, looking over her sunglasses at some of the Glee Club members that she knew weren't in a relationship.

Biting his lip in thought, Sam couldn't help but sneak a glance over at Alicia who was giggling excitedly with Quinn. They hadn't really spoken since their kiss in the auditorium, but her bright smile and glistening eyes from across the room made his heart skip a beat instantly, and he knew right then and there that all he wanted was to take that girl to Sugar's party.

Alicia smiled gently to herself as she opened up her locker, the inside of which she'd decorated with pink and red paper hearts. Unlike the previous year's Valentines Day, when she was preoccupied with the whole Sam-Quinn-Finn love triangle, she felt a lot happier this time around. Love was in the air, with nearly everyone in the glee club coupled up and super excited to attend Sugar's upcoming extravaganza.
