It was cloudy and cold as we sat in the stands, eagerly awaiting Harry's arrival.
Hermione had been quiet since she came and joined us, which made me wonder what was going on with her. I felt that she would be more excited about the first task of the tournament.
The whole crowd, including our group, was in an uproar, applauding Cedric's victory over his dragon.
It was nice to see him so happy. Obviously things with Cedric and I have never been more platonic. I was happy with Fred and clearly, Cedric had a thing with Cho now. He had asked her to the ball a few days ago.
All of the other Tri-Wizard Champions have taken their turn with their dragons, which meant Harry was next. I'm not going to lie, I was worried for him.
Ron was sitting next to me and his leg was bouncing like crazy out of anxiety.
I smiled to myself, feeling relieved that Ron still cared about what happened to Harry during the tournament. I mean, why wouldn't he?
Fred was seated on the other side of me, his arm wrapped around my waist and holding me close to him.
He was shouting Harry's name and soon, George, Lee, Ginny, Neville and I joined him.
We saw Harry come out, a look of terror on his face as his eyes were drawn to his opponent.
Harry began scrambling towards the egg that he was supposed to capture, but he didn't make it very far before the dragon began to pounce at him.
Everyone shrieked as the dragon threw his tail at Harry. Now Harry was running, trying to dodge the beast.
The dragon blew fire towards him and he was crouched behind a boulder. We were all on our feet now, terrified for our friend.
"Blimey Harry!" Ron shouted and Hermione hit her hand against the wood of the stands, "Your wand Harry! Your wand!"
We watched closely as Harry held his wand tightly, seeing his lips move, muttering some type of spell.
Nothing happened for a few moments which confused me as the dragon tugged on the chain that kept it away from where Harry was, still blowing fire against the boulder he was behind.
"Come on Harry! You can do this!" I shouted and seconds later, Harry's broom came zooming towards him.
When he saw his opportunity, Harry ran and jumped onto his broom, taking off out of the arena, missing the egg on the way out.
The dragon went after him, breaking free from the chain that was attached to him and flying after Harry. We all screamed out of fear.
Then there was Fred who shouted, "Well done Dragon!"
I hit Fred's arm and he laughed at me, "What? I love the excitement!"
We all slowly took our seats, remaining silent as we waited to see Harry return, hopefully.
There was a large group of Hogwarts students in a different part of the stands who started chanting, "Potter stinks!"
I rolled my eyes and Ron began shouting towards them, although they probably couldn't hear him, "Don't you know he could be killed?!"
Hermione tugged on Ron's hand, causing him to sit back down next to her, "He'll be okay Ron! All we can do is wait."
He nodded and we returned to our silence. The entire place was so quiet and the atmosphere was tense.
