Finally, my last day of detention with Snape.

He has made my afternoons for the past week a living hell, to be honest; constantly telling me that if I were in Slytherin, I'd be expelled. Blah, blah, blah.

Slytherins do much worse and they are not touched. I mean, sure, Snape is hard on them but Draco and his little posse would be out of here if that were the case.

Today, Snape has me dusting every potion in his collection in his office. It has taken me three and a half hours, but I'm on the last little bottle.

I set the bottle carefully back onto his shelf, "Done!"

Snape looks up slowly at me from his desk, "Very well. See you in class Miss Longbottom. Maybe this will finally show you and those Weasleys not to be complete imbeciles."

I nod my head to him and back out of his office slowly. Once I'm free, I take off running.

Fred and I have not had any alone time for the past week because of all the work I've been doing in detention and we're both banking on tonight.

It's once again Friday, finally and I even have a cute outfit picked out. It'll be a nice change of pace from the school uniform, even though I know Fred kind of digs that whole school girl kink.

I enter the Common Room where I find George playing Wizard Chess with Ron.

"Oi! Madeline, where's the fire?" Ron chuckles to me as he watches me hurry to the stairs.

"No time, Ron!" I yell to him as I run up the stairs to the girl's dorms.

"Late for her dick appointment," George remarks and I can hear Ron laughing.

I roll my eyes as I hurry down the hall.

I get to my room and start to unbutton my robe. Katie is sitting on her bed, reading and smiles when she sees me, "Hi Madeline! You've got a little something on your bed!"

I smile to her and look to find an envelope sitting next to my dress I laid out.

"Oh, what is it?" I ask Katie, walking over and picking up the brown envelope.

Katie wiggles her eyebrows at me, "It's from your lover boy."

I shake my head and smile to myself as I notice Fred's handwriting on the front.

"Mads"

Butterflies creep into my stomach as I carefully open the envelope.

I unfold the paper carefully and read.

"Madeline,
I'm so excited to see you tonight! Make sure to dress warm because, of course, I've got some tricks up my sleeve.

Meet me in the courtyard.

xx Fred"

The letter smells like Fred and I chuckle, thinking about him spraying his cologne on this.

"What a cheeky chap," Katie waves her hand in front of her face, obviously catching Fred's scent in the air and I laugh at her.

"Yeah, he can be a bit cheesy but I love him." I say back and Katie gasps, "Love?"

I rub my face, embarrassed. I haven't actually said that out loud before. Katie and I obviously are good friends and have been teammates for a while, but we never really did gossip about our love lives with one another.

I sigh, "Yeah, but I haven't said anything. He hasn't said it to me either, but I must admit it is how I feel."

Katie claps her hand over her mouth, an excited expression spread across her face, "Oooo you're in love!"
