I tightened my grip around Fred's torso and he shouted as we flew through the sky. It was past curfew and I laughed at his irresponsibility. We went for a ride on his broom because we were having a hard time finding alone time lately.

There has been more security around the Astronomy Tower because we got caught snogging in there a couple of weeks ago. We actually are still serving detention every school day for that. It was almost the end of the year though. One more week of classes and the school year would wrap up with the last task of the tournament.

My stomach dropped as Fred made a loop, "Fred! Cut it out!"

He just laughed at me and started our decent back to the ground. He was going way faster than I think he was intending because when we touched the ground, we both launched forward and rolled against the ground.

I landed on top of him and we both began to laugh, despite whatever pain we were in.

After a moment, I rest my head against his chest, listening to the quickened pace of his heartbeat. He ran his hand through my hair.

"I love you Freddie," I whispered and he wrapped his arms around me, "I love you too."

We stayed there for a moment until I decided to get off of him. I stood up and extended my hand to him. He pouted at me for a moment and then took my hand with a smile creeping on his face. I pulled him up and he grabbed his broom. Our fingers interlocked and we began slowly walking back through the halls of the castle.

"Do you think Harry will win the tournament?" I ask, looking up at Fred. He moves the hair from his eyes and nods, "I think he has a good shot. If it's not him, it'll be Diggory."

I chuckle and squeeze his hand, "You don't think Victor will win?"

Fred laughs and shakes his head, "No! That guy is all bark and no bite."

I scoffed at Fred's remark, "Hmm, you better keep your voice down Weasley! His groupies might hear you."

Fred looked down at me with a smile, "Oh please."

I smiled back to him and we finally made it to the stairs up to the Common Room without getting caught.

When we got inside, we found Hermione, Ron and Harry studying on the couch by the fire.

"Hi guys," I greet them, my hand still intertwined with Fred's.

Ron smiles up at us and nods, Harry gives a small and bored wave and Hermione doesn't even look up.

"Hi Madeline. Hi Fred. No time for chatting, we've got to focus on this final week of classes." Hermione says with her nose still in her book.

Ron groans and she glares at him, "Please Ronald. You and Harry both have been slacking off lately."

Harry rolled his eyes, "Slacking off? Sure, don't mind me just trying to not get killed."

Hermione rolled her eyes too and I giggle watching their banter, "You lot definitely could use a pick me up. Do you want me to go grab you some pumpkin juice?"

"You mean like stealing it from the Great Hall?" Hermione shook her head.

"Not stealing Granger. Borrowing. There is a difference," I smile and she sighs, "Not much of a difference to professors."

Ron sticks his tongue out at Hermione and then looks at me, "Well, I for one would love some pumpkin juice Maddie."

I laugh at him and nod, "Perfect. I'll be back."

I drop Fred's hand and begin to leave but Fred follows, "I want to come!"

I laugh, "You'll definitely give us away!" Fred laughs too and wraps his arms around me.
