A Curse to Remember (Round 1)

I just keep glaring at my stirring wheels as if my glaring will magically start my stupid mustang. Well Happy 18th birthday Nate I mentally scoffed myself. Thats just what I needed at this hour of night in this alone and scary forest while returning home from my birthday party.

"You have got to be kidding me."

To say I was scared while getting of the car is the understament of the year.The night was chilly and my surrounding was scary as hell. I sighed and jumped out of my car to walk home since it was just half mile away.

By the way my name is Nate. Today I just turned 18.I got great parents , nice friends , good life but I always feel that some part of me is mising and i m incomplete without it .There is something which i know in my heart is there just out of my reach like it was desperately waiting for me to come.Its like deep down I know a part of me, my soul is trapped somewhere to be freed and only I can free it.

I was walking for five minutes with complete silence expect for my footsteps when i felt something strange.It was like a desperate cry voice calling to me but there was no one.

I don't know why but suddenly I started walking in opposite direction of my home. I knew I had to go home it was already late but I kept walking because some invisible force was telling me to go there like a moth is drawn to flame and iron is always attracted to magnet. In that darken path which was scary there was a pure light which was calling me.And I kept walking.

SOMETIMES THE HEART SEES WHAT IS INVISIBLE TO THE EYES

After some time of walking I came to an abrupt halt shocked because of what was in front of me.

There was the remaings of some ancient castle.In centre there was a big waterless fountain covered with dried stems of tree sourrounded by dirty n stale stones. The huge rusty iron gates was connected to the solid old half thick walls with broken glass windows which was also covered with dirt, dried branches,thick layers of weeds and the stale smell. It looked liked this caslte was abandoned for decades.

What shocked me the most was it was the exact same castle which I saw in my every dream but I was not scared just opposite I was content and atpeace. For some insane reason my heart was urging me to go inside and telling me that it was the destination of my life. There was some invisble but pure pull which was calling me and I always follows my heart.

As I entered the castle I was drawn to a stone statue of a princess which was located at the middle of the hall of the throne room. The instant I looked at her eyes I felt my heart skipped a beat.

I don't know how but I knew I had to touch her like my life is depended on it so I touched her. The instant my fingers made contact with her cheek its like time stilled and all memories came flooding back to me.

Flashback

1889

"Annabelle, I love you" , I said to the most beautiful with the face of angel and deepest forest greened eyes girl. She is the love of my life. She is the kindest princess about to become by queen.

"I love you too Natethaniel",she smiled at me shyly "Promise me u will always love me like that."

" I promise my sweet Anna, Always and Forever." I told her without hesitation because it was true.

"No!!"

We turn around to see that cruel and ugly witch Rebecca which was powerful full of herself who was power hungry and selfcentred who wanted to become queen but she was selfish and wicked. I knew she was obbessed with me becaue I was the upcoming king of this peaceful and beautiful kingdom who desreved kind hearted queen not some wicked witch.

'Rebecca, I told u I don't love or want you", I sighed tired with her sturboness."I only love ANNABELLE."

"If I can't have you so no one can too." As she said that a chill ran down my spine and I knew she was planning something with the ugly mind of her. She started chanting something and I was forced to backed against the wall. Anna screamed and tried to come near me but she was rooted to her place.

"I curse you both. You both will be never together. You both will be separated from each other in next lifes too. I will make sure of it."

I saw with horror as ANNA started screaming in pain and in front of my eyes I saw life drained out of the love of my life.With her then and there a part of my soul was lost.

Anna became stone. Her soul was trapped in that statue. I attempted to reach her but it was invane. I glared at Rebecca and she just laughed cruely.

"Now she will be trapped there for eternity." She taunted me."Now where is your true love, Natethaniel", she laughed at me and i kept glaring at her.

"You don't know the power of true love Rebecca", I spat at her hatredly."It is strongest of all. Your curse can't stop us from being together."

"Are you challenging me?", she shouted vemonsonly and angrily."Lets test it, I give you a loophole."she smirked.I got hope in my eyes.

" If you so think that your so called true love is stronger than my curse you have to live your this lifecycle which consist of 7 births without her miserably knowing your love is trapped here. In next lifecycle the curse will only be broken when you can find her and give her your true love's kiss."

"But there is one tiny problem dear Nathaniel, After completing lifecycle one lost his all memories of past lifecycle.", she laughed wickedly at my face."But I can't be that cruel so give you one little chance. Whenever you touch her you will remember all of your pastlife."

After listening to her I smiled and said " Challenge accepted."I saw the smirked wiped out of face with satisfaction then i killed myself with my sword.

Without thinking or hesitance I kissed her and for the first time in my life i felt complete and content.

Then that statue changed into my Annabelle with the same angeltic face and tears of happiness in that beautiful forest green eyes.

"Finally!! You came Nathaniel"

"Offcourse my sweet Anna, I promised you ALWAYS AND FORVER"
