I guess, I could say I easily trust people because I always try to see the good in them.
For some reason, it's always the reason why my trust is easily stepped on and the people I chose to believe in, breaks my trust and thinks I'm that easy to fool. It's not something that I'm proud of, but it's something I've been trying to control for awhile now. I should not always trust people because not everyone is trustworthy.
I felt it and I'm sure that I won't be fooled by anyone again. My trust may be easy to get, but at least I'm giving chances. A lot of chances, actually.
I dressed up in a simple and elegant white lacy dress and let my hair loose into waves as usual. I brought my black clutch and black heels to pair it off and sprayed my favorite Chanel perfume all over my body. I took one last look on my mirror before I went downstairs and walked elegantly, like my mother taught me.
"Claudia!" Mommy cheered and made me stay at the middle of our stairway. She had a camera on her hand and started taking pictures of me. Prince resisted the urge to laugh while looking at me.
"Ma, next week pa ang graduation ni Ate. She's not the one who's graduating today, ako 'yon!" reklamo ni Prince kay Mommy.
Mommy chuckled and hugged her son.
"Sorry, anak! Ang ganda lang ng Ate mo! Go on, go beside her and take a pic with your toga!"
Prince sighed and groaned before he posed beside me. I tried to punch his tummy and mess up his hair. We also took pics with Daddy and a family picture taken by our staffs.
It's Prince's junior high school graduation today and the whole family is present. He's the youngest Montereal and we have been present from his pre-school graduation up until his next graduations. Crystal is the only one who can't come, because she's busy with something and she couldn't do anything about her schedule.
Today is also Monarch's SHS graduation. I'm trying to find a way to go there too, since Cloud asked me too and as a friend, I want to be there for him. Morning naman ang graduation ni Prince, so maybe I'll find some time to go there kahit patapos na 'yong program.
Prince had a lot of awards so it took like a minute, before he could move and get all of them. Our cousins were too loud, especially the boys. We're like in a cockpit, and Prince is their rooster because of their loud and noisy cheers.
"Woah! Happy birthday, pre!" Marvel shouted.
Binatukan ni Drake si Marvel.
"Tanga! Graduation niya, hindi naman niya birthday!"
Marvel rubbed his head and glared at Drake.
"Ayan, natanga ka tuloy!" Santi laughed. "Parang nung isang araw lang nasapak ka, ah? How's the bruise, Vel? Still courting the girl that punched you?"
Marvel shook his head and glared at them.
"Hindi na, siyempre..." sagot nito sa kanila. Marvel glanced at Mireia before he returned his attention to Prince.
After Prince's graduation, we went out to eat with the whole family. I've been looking at my watch, because I plan to go to Monarch. I also asked Legend if I could go and he said he would go with me. Tinanong pa nga niya kung sino daw ang pupuntahan ko and of course, I was honest with him.
