"Do you want some milk, baby?"

I held Soraya in my arms as she giggled and held my face. She's so adorable! Natandaan ko pa nung umuwi ako at dinala siya ni Mireia sa amin. Natutuwa ako dahil kamukha niya si Mireia. There's no doubt about that.

I am babysitting her for today. Busy ang mag-asawa at wala naman akong schedules for today. My manager told me to lie low for a while because of the controversies, that's why I had to cancel my other offers so I can let the issue die down because it's been a big news in the country for weeks now.

Despite that, I have been going through some research on opening up my own perfume business. I can't stay in the showbusiness forever.

"There's a little bit of him that I see in her..." pansin ni Reed habang nakatitig sa bata.

"Reed, you're bitterness is showing," I smirked. The baby pointed at Reed and clapped her hands.

Reed mocked her and shook his head. Ngumuso ako. Pumapatol pa siya sa bata!

"I think she likes you, Reed!" I teased. "What if, ikaw mag-alaga habang mamimili ako pagkain at damit para sa kanya!"

Hobby ko na siguro ang inisin si Reed. These days marami siyang pinagkakaabalahan. After he went with my brother in New York, marami pang pinaayos sa kanya si Papa.

He rolled his eyes. "No thanks, may dugo ni Cordova 'yan." He crossed his legs and looked pissed because of what I said.

I laughed. "Wow, really? You're being so immature!"

He sighed and stared at the kid.

"Akin na."

Kinuha niya sa akin si Soraya. The kid didn't seem to mind. Usually she cries whenever someone she doesn't know carries her. I guess... Reed is an exception.

"She likes you... what if-"

"Tigilan mo ako, pag ako umasa na naman..." sabi niya.

Tumawa ako. I felt like it's been a while since I laughed this hard. Delusional! Kala mo naman may nangyari sa kanila ni Mireia, e wala naman! He didn't even reach the state of relationship where he was her boyfriend!

"Geez, if hindi ka kasi torpe edi kayo sana?" I proceeded to folding Soraya's clothes. Mamaya kasi papalitan ko na ang damit nito. I learned through Mommy's instructions. Too bad, wala pa rin siya alam sa tunay na kalagayan ko.

He sighed. "Kung hindi ka sana tanga pumili, edi sana masaya ka ngayon?" he smiled sarcastically.

Sinimangutan ko siya. "Whatever, Reed."

"Okay, Claudia." Natawa siya at nilaro si Soraya.

Pumasok si Marvel sa kwarto. These days, he looked alot more happier. I don't know what happened. Pero mukhang masaya naman sila ni Ate Snow.

Hay. It's been weeks since that happened.

"Tatay na tatay ah?" Mapangasar na ngiti ni Marvel.

Reed ignored him.

Umupo si Marvel sa tabi ko at inakbayan ako. "What if, kayo nalang ni Reed? Bagay naman kayo. Sabay naman kayong lumaki. Maganda ka, may itsura naman ito-"

"Never," sabay naming sagot ni Reed. Pinanliitan ko siya ng mata. "Ew." sabay uli naming sabi.

Manghang tumingin sa amin si Marvel bago humagikgik.

"Man, kung si Mireia pa rin... I salute you for your loyalty. Sa ugali 'yon ng kapatid ko, mahal mo pa rin kahit ilang taon na? Maski asawa nga non, sumuko na e."
