Chapter 51 - Two sides of a coin

Ryker POV

"Can everyone hear me?" I watched Emmeline smile at the guys eyeing her. The series of 'yes' were the answer to my question.

"How is it going on Alek's side?" Her worried voice sadden me.

I watched the monitors that were installed in this big van where I was currently seated looking at the two sides of the mission.

"They are still on their way" I replied, "Babygirl I need you to focus on the mission and your safety now, Zane is with him so is Ethan"

She sighed from her end. Damon walked towards her.

"Everything is under control just give us the sign when you enter" he spoke. I was their eyes and ears in this mission.

I didn't like that I wasn't beside Emmeline when she was going inside, where there was a possibility that someone inside the club knew her.

"I am in" Eve whispered

"Me too" Ria said after her as I saw the two in the kitchen looking at the camera.

"Okay then" I rubbed my hands together, "Alek and his team is also in position now all we have to do is wait and look for our target"

"Let's get this shit done" Emmy smirked and linked her arms with Blaze and started walking to the entrance of the club line.

"Ryker?" Alek spoke.

"What is it?" I questioned looking at the monitors for any problems.

Eve was holding a tray and Ria was standing beside a table. Emmy was already interacting with men who were our sub targets. Damon was keeping an eye on the three girls and Blaze was by Emmy's side.

On the other side, Alek and the others were waiting and Owen was smiling at the dashboard camera.

At first I believed that Owen was the ideal father for he loved Aiden and me so much that anyone who saw it would be envious of us. The perfect façade that my father kept for years crashed down in seconds when I saw Emmeline and Evelana. The perfect façade that my brother kept crashed down too when I saw him beat Eve and made Emmy feel uncomfortable whenever he touched her using his filthy hands.

For years I watched them have their way with girls of any age, saw them kill, saw their demons at their peaks. It was all thanks to Eve and Emmy that I could endure it all, I felt ashamed at myself for being so weak that I couldn't even protect the person I love the most.

"Owen knew Elizabeth was coming didn't he?"

"He knew it that's why he didn't answer any of my questions cause he knew that I wouldn't save him or even help him tell his whereabouts to Aiden" I sighed

"Emmeline--

"Target on sight" Emmy's voice cut Alek off, "but I didn't know he was with Uriel"

"Do you know the other guy?" Blaze questioned.

"Emmy make sure Ria doesn't come face to face with him" I warned her

"Who doesn't come face to face with me?" Ria asked puzzled

"They are here" Zane said, "they sure did come armed"

"What do we do Ryker?" Emmy questioned, "we didn't know Kyle would be here?"

"Something is wrong" Alek looked closely at the two people getting down from the black car from either sides, "Elizabeth came with Aiden"
