After years of living with his adoptive family Dean never thought that he would have to see this awful place again, okay the place wasn't awful Ms. Jasmine actually took really good care of him and his brother. But she was also the one who allowed Sam to be taken away which made Dean hate her. His green eyes fell upon the picture Sam had drawn him years ago, even though it was in terrible shape, he still kept it with him everywhere he went."I am going to find you Sammy I promise, " he said to the drawing as though it could hear him. With a heavy sigh he carefully placed the picture inside the small CD drawer with his cassette tapes. Then he got out of his car, which was a black 1967 Impala or he is liked to call it his baby. Every step he took towards the door was filled with dreed as he had no idea what he would find out. Before he could even knock the front door opened and a woman in her late fourties was behind it.
"Hi can I help you? " She asked wondering why she had an uninvited guest at her front door.
"I'm looking for Ms. Jasmine, " Dean said to her simply as he figured she must have been a new staff member or something.
"She's inside come with me, " the woman said and she let him come inside where he saw a bunch of young kids playing with eachother. Some of them were playing with balls or puzzles while others were drawing. Dean spotted Ms. Jasmine at her desk looking through a bunch of paperwork, if he didn't know it was her he wouldn't have reconized her because she looked much older then she should."Sister there is someone here to see you, " the woman said to Ms. Jasmine and she looked up from her work and her blue eyes landed on Dean. She reconized him immediately even though she hadn't seen him in years.
"Thank you Bella can you give the two of us some privacy, " Ms. Jasmine asked and her sister nodded while taking all of the children outside to play.
"Dean I didn't think I would be seeing you here again, " She said as he sat in the chair across from her."I didn't think so either but I don't have time for any of that bull crap, I think you know why I am here. " Dean said to her and she flinched not at his tone but at his words. She did know why he was here but she couldn't tell him what he wanted to hear, because she didn't know where Sam was and even if she did legally she couldn't tell him.
"I want to know where my brother is, " Dean said to her after she didn't respond.
"Dean I know you won't like this but I can't help you. " She said to him as calmly as she could."Don't fuckiung say that, I've been searching for him since I was 17 and you're the only person who would know where he is. " Dean argued he was tired of people telling him to stop searching for his brother, they didn't understand how much Sammy needed him and vice versa.
"Dean your brother may be very different from how you remember him. " Ms. Jasmine said to him and that really set him off, he didn't care how different Sam was he would still be his little brother.
"I don't care and I'm not going to leave this place until you tell me where he is, " Dean said to her every fiber of his being trying to hold back all the anger he was feeling."Dean I remember the day when you and Sam were separated more then anyone, but all I can say is that I did what I thought was best for both of you. " She told him and it was the truth plus she didn't have much of a choice.
"Well you never asked either of us what we wanted, we're perfectly fine until you came into our lives and took him from me!" Dean exclaimed with tears welling up in his eyes, why didn't anyone understand that he just wanted to find his brother, it wasn't a crime to want to find someone you loved.
"Dean I am very sorry but I can't tell you anything because I don't know where he is." She admitted and Dean couldn't take this anymore he had to leave and if that meant finding Sam without her then so be it."You never did what was best for us, you only wanted us to be separated just like everyone else and I'm going to find him whether you like it! " Dean yelled as he stood up to leave and despite Ms. Jasmine multiple attempts to get him to calm down, he stormed out and angrily slammed the door of his car as he got back in. It was only then that he broke into a fit of angry tears. He cried so much that he could fell the tears stinging his face, but he didn't care.
If he didn't have a clue where to look for his brother then his search could be endless, he didn't even know if Sam would recognize him or if he would recognize Sam. He would be sixteen, heck there was even a chance that because Sam was so young when they were separated that he wouldn't even remember him. All of that just hurt him so much that all he could was cry. He didn't know how long he sat there practically drowning in his own tears but he eventually pulled himself together and decided he would head to the nearest bar he could find. He needed to drink after all that, so he drove around until he found one.
