--playing (It Takes Two) Two to Tango by Paul Davis--

[Scarlette steps out of her apartment to see Daniel leaning against the wall beside her door with his hands in his pockets] "Hey stranger." [Daniel greets as he stops leaning against the wall and stands beside her with a smile on his face. Scarlette smiled despite her massive headache. Daniel can tell she's a little hungover] "What, drank too much last night?" [he jokes]

"I needed it." [They begin their way to school, stepping down the stairs. They begin to cross the street when they see an expensive car pull up behind them, it was Johnny. He honks his horn]

"What the hell is this?" [Johnny asks Scarlette loudly, he never saw her at the country club last night. Scarlette turns around- Daniel rolls his eyes and shakes his head]

"This won't be pretty." [Daniel whispers to Scarlette. Scarlette steps over to Johnny, he gets out of his car]

"It's over, Johnny! I saw you at the country club last night."

"Scarlette I can explain this. You don't know what your talking about-" [He runs over to her yelling]

"I know what this was about! This was all about making Daniel feel upset-" [Daniel walks over to Scarlette to pull her away a little bit but she still pushes forth]

"Calm down, Scarlette." [Daniel says as he tries his best to calm down his friend, but himself is a little tense as well. Johnny looks over at Daniel and then to Scarlette. Scarlette ignores Daniel's words but appreciates them]

"I just want to talk to you!" [Johnny demands as he steps closer and tries to grab her by her arm]

"I don't want to talk!" [Scarlette yells back, she backs away from his hand. Daniel steps in front of her]

"She doesn't want to talk to you, alright?" [Daniel says with Scarlette standing behind him, enraging Johnny even more] "Just quit it, man."

"You want to get involved, Larusso?" [Johnny aggressively inquires, pointing his finger and stomping over to Daniel]

"He's just trying to help, Johnny-"

"That's the problem, Scar. He keeps trying to get involved-" [Johnny yells once again. Scarlette's anger grows from him calling her "Scar"]

"Well leave her alone and I won't be involved!" [Daniel yells back]

"No!" [Johnny childishly yells louder. Daniel clenches his teeth and groans, he anticipates a fight]

"Daniel, I can handle this." [Scarlette whispers to Daniel steps away from him very slightly but he still holds her hand behind his back]

"What do you mean?" [He whispers back, very intensely. She steps away from him then steps in front of him, in front of Johnny]

"No, leave him alone, Johnny." [She points her finger in his face. Daniel wishes to reach forth and put her back behind him, but he knows he cannot get away with such a thing- she knows karate afterall]

"Why? He's just some pussy kid from Jersey-"

"He's not! Just leave him alone." [She yells over him, pointing her finger again] "I know what you did to him with Bobby, Tommy, and Dutch-"

"Yeah on Halloween night, everybody knows-"

"No, after I punched you in the face, Johnny. I know about that. You assholes drove him off a hill and pretended like nothing happened. Fuck you for that!"

"Fuck you too!" [Johnny points his finger back and steps closer, Scarlette was sick of his childish responses. She begins to walk off with Daniel. Daniel steps backwards then turns around with Scarlette to go to school] "Scar, wait!" [Johnny grabs her by the arm. He's not this upset because he likes her this much, he's just angry about Daniel again. Scarlette has the same look in her eyes that she did when she punched Johnny in the face- a deathly and angry stare]

"Don't call me Scar." [She intensely says, still looking Johnny deathly into the eye. She remembers that her old sensei would tell her to always look people in the eyes]

"What? Do you want to hit me- again?" [Johnny taunts angrily]

"Shut up, Johnny! If you want to fight then do it, bitch!"

"No, Scarlette-" [Daniel grabs her shoulder but she pulls away. It was now too late. Scarlette kicks Johnny right as he tries to hit her. They're both hit but still up. Scarlette swings her fist but Johnny dodges it and kicks her again- harder. She kneels down but stands back up]

"Stop it!" [Daniel yells- he would get involved physically but he's not allowed to face Cobra Kai until the All Valley tournament. They continue to fight- Scarlette punches Johnny in the face, just as before. He then is kicked in the leg but will not fall. They attack each other once again- continuously dodging and or taking hits but not too hard. Then all of the sudden- Johnny has a leg up on Scarlette, he kicks her in the face]

"Sensei always says mercy is for the weak'' [Johnny declares as Scarlette falls and is kicked again once more. Her nose is bleeding and she's intensely and angrily clenching her teeth- Johnny looks at Daniel -who is shocked and rushes over to Scarlette. Johnny begins to walk off]

"So you're just gonna leave her like that, Johnny?" [Daniel puts his hands on his hips]

"She started it! You both did-" [He childishly points a finger and yells at Daniel]

"You started this whole thing, Johnny. She wanted you to leave her alone but you wouldn't, she wanted you to leave me alone but you wouldn't. And it's obviously your fault that she's on the ground right now, too." [He rants, yelling. Johnny begins to walk back to Daniel when he's interrupted]

"You cannot lay a finger on him until the tournament, Johnny. That's what sensei told us." [Johnny shakes his head and begins to walk back to his car once again. Scarlette stands up- she's not injured too badly but just a couple bruises and an agitated nose. He doesn't notice she's behind him until she kicks him in the back so hard he falls. He lays on the ground as Scarlette bends over to him, grabbing him by the shirt and stepping on his stomach] "Sensei also said to never let your guard down- you never know when the enemy is ready to strike back." [She lets him go and walks back over to Daniel]

"Are you alright?" [Daniel puts his arm over her shoulder]

"Yeah, I'm great actually." [They resume their way to school]

"Ok, slugger." [He laughs and Scarlette smiles] "You want to maybe clean up before school? You've got a little blood-"

"Nah, I look badass." [They both laugh and continue their way to the high school]
