--5 months later (senior prom)--

[Daniel and Scarlette walk into the Senior Prom, late, looking around the gymnasium- which was filled with formerly dressed students and staff. The two hadn't seen the gym this decorated since the Halloween Dance, a night that had ended in a horrible bloody disaster for both teens. The two ignored those memories as much as they could, moving on from 'rivaling dojos' and 'petty beach fights'. Scarlette wore a red dress that hung just over her knees with poofy sleeves and a belt accessory. She also wore some blue-ish eye shadow and black eye liner, nothing too flashy for the girl- even during the fashion of the 80s. Daniel wore a blue suit with frills on the button down under it, and a quirky little bow tie as well. Classmates greeted the couple as they came through, they were now somewhat popular after winning the All Valley tournament. Ali smiled at them as well, she was a bit down and quiet with Scarlette and Daniel since she broke-up with Daniel and yet felt happy for Daniel and Scarlette- Ali Mills was certainly selfless. Unsurprisingly, the Cobra Kais were nowhere to be found, they had been awfully quiet and unseen after the Cobra Kai dojo disbanded. A slow song began as Scarlette and Daniel arrived on the dance floor, Scarlette couldn't help but smile at a moment like this. The couple finally found a place to idle to themselves, they stood parallel to eachother] "So, what do we do now?" [Scarlette asked honestly as she looked around the crowded gymnasium, Daniel chuckles]

"W-what do ya mean?" [He laughed surprised] "You've never been to a dance before?"

"No, no-- Well,... kinda." [Scarlette replies and shrugs, fidgeting with her fingers and looking down at her shoes, still wearing white sneakers even for this somewhat-formal occasion] "I skipped the junior prom and went to a party in the hills. And," [She stammered a bit, chuckling in-between her words- Daniel chuckles as well, admiring his girlfriend and blushing to himself about it. He puts his hand on his face, attempting to subtly hide his red face as his girlfriend continued to elaborate] "-every Halloween dance I've never stuck around for longer than halfway through-" [She finished speaking, finally looking back up with her hand rubbing her neck and chuckling once more]

"Why?" [Daniel asked with a tilt of his head, Scarlette bites her lip to hide her laugh as she continued with her hand now on her hip]

"Well, I could've stayed for the whole Halloween dance but instead I chased after a shower and 'the skeleton crew'." [Scarlette jokes. Daniel laughs and nods, his smug smile still being worn as he continued]

"That's true, good point-" [Daniel said in between laughs, looking down at his dress shoes- as they stood on the matted and decorated gym floor -for a moment, Scarlette now joined him in the laughter. He looks back up at his girlfriend and tilts his head once more, also stepping closer to her] "So," [Daniel Larusso takes two steps closer, putting his hand on Scarlette's back and holding his hand out for Scarlette to comply. He flinches his hand as his girlfriend inches towards it, they look at each other for a silent moment then blush and look away slightly- Scarlette cringes at herself for all of this 'cheesy school-dance blushing crap' but she, somehow, deeply enjoyed it as well. Daniel chuckles and motions his hand again for Scarlette's attention again] "May I have this dance, Scarlette Miyagi?" [Daniel asked with a jokingly elegant tone, as him and his girlfriend maintained eye contact and now hold each other's hands and backs -as if they were to dance but remained still for another short moment]

"You may, Daniel Larusso." [Scarlette replied with the same tone as she then complied. The couple smiles and chuckles again]

"Great!" [Daniel replied excitedly with a big smile as he began swaying and dancing smoothly with Scarlette to the slow pop song that played in the gym. Scarlette struggles on a few steps every now and then but 'wasn't bad' for a beginner in slow-dancing. The couple pulls each other closer, their heads on each other's shoulders] "So what were parties in 'the Hills' like? Was there caviar and golden statues and all that stuff?" [Daniel joked, making Scarlette laugh and shake her head slightly with a tiny bite of her lip] "No, seriously! What was it like?" [Daniel said with a small chuckle at his girlfriend's reaction, but maintaining his curiosity in the actual inquiry. He turns his head slightly to hear Scarlette better over ballad music]
