[The two teenagers, Scarlette Sevem and Daniel Larusso, continue to walk to school despite the fight that just occurred between Scarlette and Johnny Lawrence] "So, do you know what day it is?" [Daniel inquires Scarlette with a smirk]

"Friday?" [Scarlette guesses while still bleeding from the nose- she wipes some of the blood on her jean jacket sleeve]

"Well yeah but not exactly-" [Daniel smiles as they walk into the school building]

"December 18th?" [She fails to guess correctly again..She wasn't the brightest of girls, but she made up for it with her athleticism and courage]

[Daniel laughs, scratching his head] "It's my birthday today."

"Oh shit-" [Scarlette feels bad that she didn't know about Daniel's birthday after all he'd done for her.. To be fair she had done much for him as well] "Happy birthday Daniel!"

"Thanks." [He laughs again]

"I'm sorry I didn't know before-" [She feels a little embarrassed as well, scratching her head]

"It's alright, I was just wondering if you'd want to celebrate with me later. We could go to Mr. Miyagi's first then Golf 'N Stuff-"

"Sounds great. But, what about Ali?" [She couldn't celebrate with Daniel just the two of them without Ali, it'd just be immoral. Although she almost dreaded that Ali and Daniel were dating. She did have feelings for him after all]

"Well, yeah- I'm inviting her too, of course-" [They walk through the halls and see Ali with her friends. The popular girls chatter and laugh as they usually would] "I just have to talk to her first." [Scarlette nods and stands beside her locker when Daniel makes his way over to Ali- who frowns to see Daniel]

"Hey, can I talk to you for a sec?"

"Yeah, go ahead." [Ali sighs as she walks away from her friends with Daniel. Scarlette cannot help but glance from afar]

"I should've striked first- this is what happens when you lose focus." [She says to herself as she watches her crush speak with his girlfriend. Scarlette didn't even feel that angry, she just felt sad and disappointed. She tries to take her mind off of things, looking away from Ali and Daniel. But she cannot help but continue to think about it] "Sensei says that failure doesn't exist..but it sure feels like it now.." [Scarlette had lost her friends in Cobra Kai and chances with the person she has the most feelings for. She smiles while she thinks about the bright side; looking back on that time she wore Daniel's sunglasses, when she taught him how to punch well, and even last night] "He makes me crazier than anyone ever has.." [Scarlette wasn't usually one for romance and relationships, but she really cared about Daniel]

"Hey, listen it's all fine- Scarlette told me about what really happened." [Daniel puts his hand on Ali's shoulder but she doesn't react much to it]

"She did?" [Ali could tell that Scarlette had feelings for Daniel, so she thought that Scarlette might've taken advantage of the situation and made a move on Daniel without telling him about the aftermath of Johnny's kiss- she thought incorrectly. Ali looks over at Scarlette. Scarlette leans against her locker with a sigh]

"Yeah she did."

"Oh." [She still has a frown on her face as she looks back at Daniel]

"So everythings fine now, and it's my birthday- we can go to Golf 'N Stuff afterschool. I just gotta stop by Mr. Miyagi's place and-" [Daniel stops talking once he notices that his girlfriend isn't fully paying attention to him. He rolls his eyes and sees that Ali is looking behind her at Scarlette- who is still a little bloody but looks sadder than normal. Scarlette had feelings for Daniel; she obviously didn't feel happy seeing him with somebody else. She believed should've expected this more and she was ok with Daniel being with Ali of course- but it made her upset nonetheless. Ali, as a good people reader, could tell that Scarlette was upset- she could also connect the dots as to why] "Hey, what's wrong?" [Daniel cluelessly questions Ali]

"Why won't you just tell me the truth?" [She raises her voice, now looking at Daniel again. Daniel's eyebrows raise]

"What're you talking about? There's nothing I need to tell you-"

"I can't help you if you don't tell me the truth!"

"You sound like my mom, Ali." [He groans and rolls his eyes]

"Well it's true, you have to tell me how you really feel-" [Ali is almost annoyed that Daniel won't admit to the truth]

"I told you, there's nothing I need to tell-"

"I see the way you look at her, Daniel."

"What do you mean?" [Ali glances at Scarlette once more- Daniel notices] "There's nothing going on between her and I- I promise. I wouldn't do that to you-" [Daniel thinks that Ali believes he's cheating or something along the lines of it]

"Yes b-but I know you want to be with her. You guys stare at each other all of the time, Daniel. You like her a lot." [She smiles and hugs him but Daniel is so surprised he doesn't embrace her back- he stands stiffly]

"How did you-" [Daniel looks at Ali in the eyes now- he's shocked that she could tell he had feelings for Scarlette without him saying a word about it]

"I want you guys to be happy, that's what'll make me happy." [She smiles as she hugs him closely- he gives in and hugs her back, he can't but smile as well. They hadn't hugged like this since the Halloween party]

"I-I've just never felt like this before, I feel crazy" [He stutters and smiles shaking his head in his hands] "How did you know?" [He looks at her again, still smiling]

"I'm good at these things, Daniel. I'm smart." [She laughs]

"And beautiful" [He points at her face making her laugh. He then looks back over to Scarlette passionately smiling, Ali catches on and smiles at this to herself. Daniel looks back at Ali and points his finger again] "If anybody hurts you- I'm a phone call away, I know karate now."

"So does Scarlette." [Ali says as they both look over at Scarlette and break the hug. Scarlette still melancholily leans against her locker in thought] "Go!" [Ali insists as she pushes Daniel towards Scarlette with a bright smile on her and Daniel's face]

"Thank you, Ali!" [He says as he takes a couple backwards steps towards Scarlette. Ali nods and waves to him before turning round and catching up with her friends. Daniel excitedly makes his way over to Scarlette- She notices him walking over without Ali and feels confused but doesn't question it] "Hey, Scar."

"Hey, is everything alright?" [She looks up at him with her sparkling brown eyes- he smiles at her cute baby faced expression]

"Yeah, it's great actually." [He chuckles] "C'mon let's get to class." [He begins walking but waits for her]

"Ok, karate kid." [She laughs as they make their way to class] "That's kind of odd.." [She thinks as she walks beside Daniel to their classroom] "Why does he look so happy? Why is he looking at me like that again?" [She thinks as Daniel makes the same passionate expression as he'd done before] "I don't know what this is about, but I feel good about it." [Her melancholy, sad, and disappointed emotions fade as looks back at Daniel with her own passionate expression]
