Adopted

Chapter 1 (Yes i drew the cover btw)

I sat in the adoption center staring blankly at a wall. I couldn't move, I couldn't get what my dad said off my mind.
"Sweetie....M-mommy's gone." He said with a small crack in his voice. "S-she'll be back r-right?" I said in reply. "No sweetie...mommy's gone, she's in a place far far away."
Suddenly i snapped back to reality. I just turned 4 last week. She had to die on my birthday of all days. I've been at an adoption center for 4 days now.
( this is what she looks like)
- one blue eye and one gray-ish brown eye (gray ish brown is different from gray which is the color of one of Todoroki's eyes)
-red hair with several platinum blonde streaks on one side
-3ft. 2.5
This morning when I woke up I had ice coming from the left side of my body (the side with the platinum blonde streaks) and steam coming from my right side. My mommy's quirk was that she could control and move ice and my daddy's quirk was that he could emit steam from his body but the steam was so hot it could burn and melt a metal pole. I went to rub my eyes but instead of my normal hands I felt a sharp pain on my right eye. "OWWW!!!!" I yelled in pain.
(Lmao I cant...I'm sorry if this made no sence I am very hungry and can't think lol)
One of the lady's who worked there ran in and took me to the nurse. A few hours later I saw a big man at the door. He asked to adopt someone. A few minutes later the front desk lady came out and said that one of us was going to be adopted. Everyone looked around but froze when they saw the number 2 hero come out. "Hmm... what is that ones quirk?" He pointed at me. I am very intelligent for my age and thought that it was weird he asked what my quirk was. I told him about how I can produce steam as hot as fire from my right side and ice from my left. His eyes widened. His eyes soon went back to there normal size. "I want this one." He said like I was some kind of toy. About an hour later I arrived at the Todoroki house. "Look, I've adopted you all a new sister." He said loudly. The first person I see is a boy with red and white hair. He looked about the same age as me, maybe a year older. I looked at him with wide eyes. We looked so similar. He even had a bandage over his eye just like me, except mine was on my right side while his was on his left. (Both bandages covered their blue eyes) Soon I saw 2 more boys come out with a girl following behind them. I got overwhelmed by all the people and hid behind the door. Before they could introduce themselves I hear a loud voice say "SHOTO, SHOKO, GO TRAIN!!!" As soon as I heard that I went over to him and said "But I just got me quirk a few hours ago I don't even know how to use it." But to my surprise his response was "YOU CAN LEARN DURING TRAINING!!" Me and the small boy who's name was apparently Shoto went into a training room. We trained the rest of the day until... "*sniff* W-why are you doing.." I was cut off by more throw up. I looked to my side and saw Shoto in the same position as me throwing up aswell.
