I wake up, opening my eyes to see a beautiful sight. Tom is the most gorgeous man on this planet, he's like a Greek god. Perfectly sculpted. I could stare at him for hours and not get bored.
"Good morning Tommy." I say, kissing his nose.
"M' sleepin." He mumbles, and pulls me into his warm body.
"You can't be sleeping and talking at the same time." I say.
"You're annoying." He mutters and I pull from his arms, moving back to my side of the bed.
"No im sorry come back." He whines, reaching out for me.
"No you're mean." I state.
"But princess I want you." He frowns.
Oh god how is he suddenly so much cuter than I remember. I don't know how I'm going to be able to handle this on a daily basis.
I give in, scooting back into his grasp. He tightens his arms around me, and kisses my forehead before I rest my head into his chest. He hums against my hair, and soon he sings words. I've never heard him sing before.. I didn't know he could.
"You have a beautiful voice." I say.
"I don't sing very often. Prefer my piano." He says.
"Why don't I ever get to hear you play?" I ask.
"I get nervous.. but if you want, I'll play for you when I have something with me."
I grin, and pull from his grip again which makes him groan in irritation.
"Lucky for me, I have my grandpas old guitar." I say, getting up and grabbing it out of the closet across the room.
Tom sits up in the bed, and I hand the acoustic guitar over to him. His finger strums over the strings, and a horrid sound comes from them.
"Why is it so out of tune?" He laughs, starting to mess with it a bit.
"I played around with it, I wanted to learn but he died before he could teach me." I sigh.
"I can teach you how to play." He offers.
He then starts to strum the guitar, a much nicer sound coming from it now. I watch in awe of my boyfriend. He's so talented and he doesn't even share it with the world. I love having a musician boyfriend.
"Just so you know, im going to make you sing to me every night." I laugh.
"You've got me whipped, you know that?" He grins.
"Is that a bad thing?" I ask.
"Not even in the slightest."
___
We called our siblings over, knowing we need to have a chat about what happened last night. I don't know what got in my sisters head, or why she would do something as dangerous as drugs. Who knew what would have happened had I not found that box and caught them. They need help, they obviously are messing with dangerous things just to feel cool or something.
I frantically blend foundation into the spot on my neck where Tom gave me a hickey last night. If anyone sees this I'm in for a less than pleasant conversation. Tom watches me with amusement, and laughs as I struggle to fully cover it.
"Today is stressful enough I don't need everyone talking about it." I laugh anxiously.
"Dont be nervous, we're going to fix it." Tom assures me.
"She was the good one growing up.." I mutter and he laughs.
"You mean to tell me that you aren't the good one? How the hell is that?"
I roll my eyes at him, and he grabs my chin, making me look at him.
"And what's that attitude for hmm?" He hums, kissing the corner of my mouth.
"I'm not having an attitude." I say.
His thumb runs across my lip, pulling down on the center. Why is he so intoxicating..
"Yes you are." He states. "And you're lucky I can't do anything about it."
"W-what would you do about it?" I breathe out.
"Well first I'd get to have my fun." He smirks. "You'd get on your knees, and you would be a good little girl."
I feel a knot form in my stomach, a familiar feeling I know all too well from being around Tom.
"Then I'd lay on the bed.. and I'd tell you to come sit on my face." He says, pushing my hair back to whisper in my ear. "And I would make you feel so good.."
The sound of the doorbell breaks the moment, and Tom looks my face over, proudly smiling to himself.
"Maybe you aren't so innocent after all." He giggles, and gets up to go answer the door.
I shake the thoughts from my head, and turn my attention to something much more important. The two teens walking into my house, looking stressed and full of shame. I don't want them to feel that way.. I just want them to never do drugs again.
"Alright, sit down you two." Tom says, and they sit in the recliners as Tom sits back down next to me.
This feels weirdly like we're raising teenagers.
"First things first.. why?" He asks.
"Well.. some people at school were having a party- and they said I couldn't go because I'm the weird kid." Paddy starts.
"So I told them that he was cool, and to let him come!" Lily says.
"And to prove her point.. I told them I'd bring weed and pills.." Paddy sighs.
Tom and I look to each other, letting out a sigh of relief.
"You didn't take any?" I ask.
"What?! No! I'm not dumb!" Lily exclaims.
"We just wanted to go to the party!" Paddy says.
"Guys.. drugs is not the way to make friends." I sigh.
"Well I mean.. it kind of is." Tom mutters and I hit his arm harshly.
"You don't need to prove your coolness or bring drugs for the right group of people to be your friends." I say.
"I know.." Lily mutters.
"Tell me you're never gonna do some shit like this again. Okay?" Tom says.
"Okay." Paddy says.
"We're sorry.." Lily says quietly.
Tom nods to them, happy that we got this out of the way.
"Now- safe sex." He claps his hands together and both of them cover their ears with disgust.
"We already know!" Lily exclaims and I laugh.
"Leave em alone." I nudge Tom. "You guys can go."
"Thank you.." lily says, standing up.
"Do you guys need condoms? Got some in my car." Tom jokes and I shake my head. There's no stopping him.
"Goodbye!" The two say in unison.
They walk out the door, and Tom laughs to himself.
"They're cute." I smile.
"Yeah they are." He nods.
It may be far too soon to even have thoughts like this, but Tom would make an amazing dad to our kids one day. He handled that wonderfully, and they left not looking so stressed and ashamed. When Tom is calm, he can handle just about any situation.
We both slump back into the couch, and he looks over to me with a funny look on his face.
"What is your biggest fear?" He asks me.
"What?" I laugh.
"I feel like I need to know these things about you." He says and I smile. He wants to get to know me better.. that's so cute.
"Okay let me think... oh! Failing my classes."
"Goody two shoes." He mutters.
"Oh hush. What's yours?" I ask.
"Spiders." He says and my hand slaps over my mouth as I laugh.
"What- whats so funny?!" He exclaims.
"Why are you scared of spiders?!" I ask.
"Because they're scary what the fuck!" He says in shock that they don't scare me.
"They're friends!" I smile.
"Oh god you've touched one haven't you?" He asks.
"A tarantula." I nod.
He starts to look sick, and moves back from me.
"Never touch me again." He says.
"Thomas!" I groan.
"I mean it. Your hands have touched pure evil!"
He jumps up from the couch and I roll my eyes. He can't be serious. Who is this afraid of spiders?!
"Get over here." I pout.
"Absolutely not. You're gross and contaminated." He shakes his head.
It is in this moment that I remember my amazing talent of fake crying. Oh I'd love to see the look on his face..
"You're hurting my feelings." I say in a serious tone, forcing one tear to leave my eye.
"What? Oh princess I was just kidding- I didn't mean to baby." He says in a high pitched voice, grabbing me and pulling me onto his lap as he kisses my face all over, holding me in his arms.
"Wow you're easy to trick." I giggle and his mouth drops.
"You are pure evil!" He exclaims.
"Sure am." I grin, kissing him once more.
