3rd person POV
"I-I.." Chin sighed looking down at the floor "one of our friends left before the meeting was over, I'm worried about him...it's not like him to leave a meeting before we're dismissed, if anything it would be me and another friend of ours that would leave but...not him" Chin looked up at the forest elder while she sighed and then said "if your friend had valley hair, i saw him." the group of four looked up at the elder, eyes sparkling with hope. "really? where did go off to?" The forest elder sighed and looked up "i believe he just went home, but i'm not sure" The group nodded and all went to the 'home' area, otherwise known as the moth home, as all new moths get sent there in the beginning of their life. when they got there they saw nothing in the beginnng, but then.. "guys?...what's that...metalic smell?" asked Toast who carefully looked around trying to find either old metal or anything like that, not wanting to see the actual thing making the smell. then they heard sobbing, Chin immediately recognising the sound.

"CLAY!"

Chin immediately ran further into the home area looking around for Clay, not wanting to look at all the blood that was around the area. "clay where are you please answer!?" after a minute of looking he finally saw Clay, sitting near a big puddle of blood "clay?.." Clay wiped his head around, Chin immediately seeing the tears that were in his eyes. "c-chin?.." Clay asked with a broken voice "i-i tried protecting them- i couldnt- i- t-the krill- they" Chin immediately ran to his side hugging him while he cried into his shoulder while Chin was whispering comforting words. Chin then procceded to look over his shoulder and looking at the puddle of blood. His eyes widened at the sight, there in the puddle was a dead moth, further away was a another moth dead. "Chin! did you find Clay?!" Grace yelled while hugging toast "yeah i found him!" yelled Chin back, Grace then looked down at Toast still hugging her with her face smushed into her body "toast come" she whispered to her.

Clay's POV

I was crying into Chin mumbling "i wasn't able to save them" and "i'm sorry" Chin was whispering sweet nothings which did in fact help me a little to calm down. After a small while i stopped crying, i looked back at the dead newborns and sighed "i couldn't save them Chin, something told me they would die, i didn't listen until it started yelling desperatly trying to get me to go here" i looked up at him while he listened to me, he had his hand on my head slowly and carefully petting my fluffy hair "when I got here it was too late" chin sighed "it's ok Clay, even though you were right about them going to die, there was probably nothing you could do to change that" i sighed looking away from him and onto the bodies then he asked "did you see what killed them?" I nodded slowly looking down. "it was a krill, a krill from eden if i'm correct. it was bigger then the krills in wasteland" I looked up again and saw Chin's eyes wide open, he calmed down and his eyes went back to normal "weird..eden krills shouldn't be able to leave eden unless the gate is broken, but i'm pretty sure it isn't..." i only noddedd not really wanting to think about the eden krills. they were bigger and stronger, not only that but also a lot more scary with all the dried blood they have on their bodies. "guys! oh thank god your alive!" Me and chin look up to see grace coming towards us holding toast's hand, which I and Chin procced to smirk at. Grace stops dead in her tracks "what?.." me and Chin laugh at her reaction not really thinking about the fact I was crying just now and all the dead bodies around us. "nothing nothing" I said standing up and helping Chin up "we should report this to the elders though....and i need to apologise for leaving without saying anything.."

3rd person POV

the group went to the great gold hall again as the elders were usually there for around an hour or two more after their meetings. They saw how the elders were discussing something they couldn't really hear, to not accidently hear anything Grace cleared her throat catching the attention of the elders. The vault elder walked to them and asked "what are you four doing here again? is there something important you want to tell us?" the four nodded and looked at Clay that was holding onto Chins arm like his life depended on it. The vault elder smiled softly reasuring Clay he didn't need to be afraid, Clay sighed before letting go of Chin and walking forward before bowing "i'm sorry I left before the meeting was over" the vault elder laughed softly before saying "oh it's fine young sky kid! no need to worry as it was only a few minutes before the meeting ended." Clay stopped bowing looking up at the vault elder before almost immediatly looking down again "that...that wasn't the only thing I needed to say" the other elders had now come to hear the news from the young sky kid "oh? what are the others news?" the forest elder asked this time "i went to the home area and...a eden krill was there..and almost all the moths were dead..dusted" the elders eyes wided "a..eden krill?..how did you know it was a eden krill?" the wasteland elder asked. Clay sighed "the krill was bigger then the normal adult krill from waslen, it was redder as well" the elders nodded signaling that the understood and that they heard "thank you for giving us this piece of infromation, we will make sure to figure out what happened and bury the children that have faded" the group bowed to the elders and then procceded to go back to their home.

(timeskip to when their at their home since I have no idea what to write)

Chin's POV

we all got home and Toast immediatly yelled "FREEDOM!!"and jumped onto the couch face first, we all burst out laughing at her being the chaotic child she is, Grace went over to the couch and sat down next to Toast still laughing slightly at Toast's childish behavior, me and Clay were standing next to eachother calming down from our laughing. "It's getting late guys, we should head off to bed around now" said Grace while looking at the us, me and the others nodded before saying goodnight and going into our seperate rooms. i took off my cape and put my staff next to my bed, climbing into the bed and going under the blanket that was on. I closed my eyes and started falling asleep before i heard my door open, to which I turned my head to see who it was. To my suprise stood Clay there looking down "Clay?..what are you doing here?" He looked up and sighed before walking towards me sitting down next to my bed, now needing to look up at me. "I know this is pretty childish but...could i maybe..sleep next to you tonight?" while saying that I saw how he started to blush slighty 'oh jeez..he's so cute sometimes' I laughed before saying "of course you idiot, come on get in" i lifted the blanket to let him climb in with me, which he gladly did. Almost immediatly after he climbed in he hugged me nuzzling his head into my chest, when he did that i could see how he turned even redder then before, which i yet again laughed at. I hugged back blushing and smiling softly, "goodnight Clay" I whispered "goodnight chin..." Clay replied falling asleep rather quickly "I love you so much you little muffin.."
