Feelings // chapter 8

Toast's POV

I was drawing the small incident where Chin had put Clay's head into the snow, I felt Grace lean onto my arm so I looked over and saw her reading a book while leaning on me. I blushed giggling a little, I saw Grace look up a little to see my face and then giggled herself "you look so cute blushing like that Toasty~" I blushed even more hearing that and quickly took a pillow and smacked her head with it softly as to not hurt her "shut up Grace! I'm not the cute one here" Grace laughed almost falling off the couch when I hit her with the pillow but I took her arm before she did that, pulling her up and hugging her, putting my head on her shoulder as she was too tall for me to put it on her head, I whispered into her ear "you're the cute one here love~" I felt her tense up when she heard me and I saw her start to blush almost immediatly "pftt hehehe~ awww~ as I said, you're the cute one here~" I giggled "shut up Toast.." Grace said looking off to the side. I kissed her cheek before continuing to draw.

Clay's POV

I was in the shower washing off the dirt that I had gotten on me before I felt a sharp pain in my chest after just barely touching it. I looked down and my eyes widened, there on my chest was a big scar, but....there were very small, red rocks on the scar. I gasped tearing up a little 'but- Grace she- didn't she remove the rocks from my core??- how can there be growing if their removed?-' I sat down on the floor, letting my tears fall while I tried to figure out why the rocks were growing. After a little while I decided that I would try scrubbing them off, hoping that this was either a nightmare or they were just stuck and I hadn't noticed. When I was able to scrub them off as they were really small I saw something that I didn't really want to see, the blood from the smaller ones were the same red colour as it should be, but from the biggest one. I saw a drop of almost black blood 'I can't tell them can I? we're really happy right not, I don't want to ruin their day by saying that I have red rocks growing again..It can wait, I can wait. I'll just tell them later' I walked out of the shower and dried myself off, putting on some new clothes taking my cape and the clothes I had on before and put them all in the washing room, I walked out seeing Toast and Grace practically cuddling and Chin making dinner, I sat down on a chair near the kitchen island table thing "how's it going Chiny?" I asked leaning on my hand while watching Chin focusing on not burning anything "It's uh- going good- haven't burnt anything yet so that's a plus" I laughed standing up "you want me to help you?~" I asked him walking forward seeing him almost burning the pork before he quickly moved it away"uhm- yes please" He laughed before I took over and continued to make the pork while he went over and made the rest.

[timeskip to when their done with the food as they legit just focused on the food and nothing else]

Clay's POV

"Foods done guys!" Chin yelled to Toast and Grace who both rather quickly came to the dining table "that was quick" I laughed out "shut up Mr. Clay, I'm starving" Toast said with a fake offended tone in her voice. We all laughed before starting to eat, disscusing what we would do the next day, I looked down getting lost in my thoughts 'when should I tell them? should I even tell them? I can tell them tomoroww when we get home- wait no they'll be happy then- I can't ruin the mood I can't-' "CLAY!"

"huhwa?-" I looked up confused, I saw Grace with her hand on my shoulder and the others looking at me "what happened?" I asked "you zoned out and didn't answer for like a solid 5 minutes, is something on your mind?" Asked Toast with a worried tone "I- what?- no no no don't worry!" I quickly said waving my hands infront of me in an X formation "you sure?" Toast asked. I quickly nodded saying "let's just continue eating!" They looked a little sceptical before they nodded and went back to eating I joined in with talking about random stuff and made a joke to try and lighten the mood which I was able to do.

[timeskip to when they were done eating because i once again dont know what to write]

3rd person POV

after eating they all went to some of their rooms, Grace and Toast went into Grace's room as it was the cleanest, while Clay and Chin sat on the couch doing their own thing. Chin was looking at his phone trying to escape the deep thoughts that were inside of his brain at that moment, while Clay was sitting on the other side of the couch reading a book. He looked up and saw the troubled look on Chin's face and decided to ask about "hey chiny? are you ok?" Chin looked up blushing slightly from the nickname but shook it off rather quickly "uh- yeah- I'm- I'm fine just a lot on my mind, that's all" Clay put his book down sighing before quickly snatching Chin's phone putting it on the table and then somehow got Chin's head on his lap, now softly petting his hair "do you want to talk about it?" He asked, honey laced into his words and tone. Chin nodded slowly starting to tell Clay about how he got worried something bad happened when they ate dinner or if the corruption was still somehow spreading in Clay's body. Clay was silent under the whole vent that Chin was doing before at the end finally speaking up "Chin I- the-" he went silent again, not wanting to worry Chin more he just said after a sigh "Chin, you know that won't happen. Grace took the crystals out, I'm fine, there's no need to worry" Chin looked to the side "I know I know, I just can't help but have a stomach feeling that something is wrong" Chin sighed sitting up "but you're right, I shouldn't worry about something that most likely won't happen soo.." He grabbed Clay's waist pulling him in and hugging him, Clay being the muffin he is started to blush almost redder then a tomato. This in turn made Chin smirk and chuckle "pftt~ you're so cute love~ ah I've wanted to try this with you" Clay looked up with curiosity still blushing "try what?" Chin smirked grabbing Clay's chin pulling him closer "this"

[bonus POV]

Toast's POV

Me and Grace were cuddling in her room, with me petting her hair when I heard Clay and Chin talking outside in the living room "Hey Grace wanna see what kind of gay stuff their doing right now?" this made Grace look up at me and smirked saying "yesss, let's go" me and Grace went outside as quiet as we could and when we could see the couch what we saw, we did not, and I mean did not expect. there on the couch was Clay sitting on Chin's lap, Chin's hand on Clay's chin (no pun intended) and they were kissing. "huh- wow, didn't expect that" Grace said "yeah same- thought they were too big of idiots to realise their pretty obvious love, welp!" I scooped Grace up walking back to her room to cuddle "no matter! cuddle time!" Grace started to laugh, trying to keep quiet as to not disturb the love birds on the couch.
