Picknick//chapter 6

Chin's POV

We had finally gotten to the area with the bell towers and we went straight to the butterfly cave, Grace and Clay went to open the door while me and Toast waited for the door to open, when it opened we took eachothers hands again and walked into the 8 person puzzle room. We saw some other people waiting there, most likely here for the wax or to visit Oreo, we stood next to two other sky kids, both using elder hair, it was wasteland elder and valley elder, more or less mohawk and dora hair, the one with the dora hair was taller then waslen one and was pretty clearly flirting with waslen. I looked over at Clay who was starting to wake up and was now yelling at Toast to not try and climb the walls, while Grace was just laughing. we ended up finally getting up to the main area of the puzzle and we flew straight up to where we can visit Oreo, as that was the best place to have the picknick. We all saw the other sky kids fly over grabbing the wax there was over on the hill some waiting a little petting Oreo before going away again to finish their candle run, we put the picknick basket on the soft grass Oreo coming over to see what was going on, barking happily when Toast went over to pet them. We finished setting everything and took out some things too eat, starting with sandwhiches (aka the toast) to which Toast was very mad at saying things such as "cannibals" or "traitors" to which they all laughed at since they knew Toast was not being serious. We continued eating a little more while talking, mostly making jokes and sometimes flirts with each other, sometimes Oreo would come up and play around them, to which Clay and Toast would usually run after to play with them sometimes both, which was adorable.

we were all laying down just looking at the sky, Grace and Toast sat over at the little stone that Oreo is always at, they were petting Oreo as he was sitting on Toast's lap. Me and Clay saw that they were clearly flirting and talking about us, most likely talking about how they ship us. I looked at Clay who was looking up at the sky deep in thought, I reached over and grabbed his hand, he turned his head to look at me, to which I smiled softly at, making him laugh and pull me closer just by dragging my hand above his shoulder. This caused me to get dragged into his side and then almost immediatly hugged by him which I this time laughed at but I hugged back nevertheless. He nuzzled his head into my chest sighing deeply, I put my hand on his head softly petting his hair, looking at his cute face "Hey Clay, how about I try to braid your hair?" Clay looked up before laughing softly "sure, what harm could it do? plus I haven't had a braid in a long time" I laughed as he said that and he sat down infront of me. I put my hand in his soft hair taking the ribbon band that he had in his hair to keep his ponytail up, I let all of his hair fall down on his back seeing how long it actually was, it's very rare for Clay to have his hair down. I started to braid his hair, putting in some flower here and there, when I was done Clay had a rather long braid with flowers in both warm and cold colours, his braid was shorter then mine though as Clay actually cut his hair sometimes "woah! Thank you Chiny!~" Clay chimed as he hugged me "ah no problem Clay" I said hugging back, I heard Grace and Toast start to giggle behind us, to which I just rolled my eyes at, laughing slightly. Clay looked up at me and started to giggle himself, to which I looked down to see him staring at me in a slightly weird way "what is it Clay?" he started to giggle more "you- you have some ice cream from before on your chin" I laughed at the small joke he did as I grabbed a tissue and wiped the ice cream away "Is that better Clay?~" I smirked a little seeing him blush before he laughed and said in a british accent "yes that is much better sir, thank you" Grace and Toast heard the accent he made and burst out laughing which just made me and Clay join in.

3rd person POV

The group of 4 started to pack everything back into the basket, when they were done they said bye to Oreo and started to head to valley. The flying and walking didnt take long as they went to the 'home' area, while walking through there they saw all the moths playing with each other while some ikemens where both watching and playing with them, they ended up staying there after Chin had been taken away by a bunch of moths, Toast and Clay ran after them trying to get Chin back but they ended up running around the area for almost 15 minutes just trying to get Chin back. Grace stood to the side laughing while talking with a fellow Forest guider, Chin had put on his chibi mask to mess even more with Clay and Toast yelling "Catch me if you can now" and then started to laugh, Clay and Toast pouting at the fact they would have to run even more.

In the end Clay had finally taken a hold of Chin and was right now holding him in his arm holding him while walking back to Grace while Toast was following "come on, I don't wanna accidently drop Chin and let him go back to being a demon child" Clay said tiringly the all nodded going into valley to finally start doing the races, but Chin had some other plans. As soon as Clay and Chin were near a wall, he took off his chibi mask and pinned Clay to that wall "demon child huh sweetie? " "I-" Clay immediatly started to blush while Toast and Grace were just smirking behind them. "I- oh frick you man!" Clay yelled while hitting the back of Chin's head, this made them all start to laugh "pffft- come on now, let's go do the races"
