Punishment is necessary

I was nervous and about to jump into the sea. "Now don't exaggerate, nobody will hurt you here," Ace remarks. I see a man with a top hat and a lot of chest hair coming towards me. Commander of the 5th Vista Division. I wonder what he wants from me. The next moment I call myself a fool. After all, they want to greet Ace in particular. I wonder what they will do when they realize that I am not Ace. "Uh" says Ace. Vista had arrived at my place by now and asks, "Lucia or Ace?" How does he know? "I told them, I didn't want them to think you were an impostor."  Ace informs me. "When, please?" I address the question to Ace. "Shortly after our 'encounter' when you were asleep and I was in control," Ace explained. I have a very bad feeling. "How did you explain that to them?" I ask Ace. "Well, by den den mushi," he says, of course. "YOU MORON!!! THE THINGS CAN BE BUGGED!" I yell at Ace in my mind. "That's right" the idiot laughs too. I sigh, it's not worth getting upset about. The child has already fallen into the well and it seems that the Navy didn't notice.

"Interesting facial expressions" Vista laughingly demands my attention back. "So you're Lucia right now!" he remarks. I nod sheepishly, I mean here is one of Whitebeard's commanders standing in front of me and I am occupying the body of his friend. Friendliness in all honor, but I am a stranger who does not belong here. I come from a world where everything that is different is viewed with skepticism. "We are not like that" says Fire Fist as a matter of course, but life taught me otherwise. Despite all this, Vista smiles at me and says kindly: "No one here will hurt you, we are in your debt, after all you saved Ace. Even if unintentionally and in a very strange context, but that's Ace. He would manage to get burned on a winter island and that although he is a fire person" Vista laughs because of his statement. "Not true at all!" outraged Ace. "I saved myself, I didn't know about Ace at that time" I feel obliged to clarify the situation. Vista just laughs. Ace also. "Despite everything, you saved him, but enough of this topic I'm supposed to take you to father" Vista explains to me. I swallow and nod. I had no more words.

I followed Vista to a huge throne. And then I saw Whitebeard. Tall and imposing, with a powerful aura. You could literally feel the strength in the air. Seeing him on the screen and actually standing in front of him are two different things. When I stand in front of him, I have only one thing left to do: I stare at him with huge eyes and downturned mouth. Whitebeard, in turn, looks at me and laughs. Even the sound of his laughter is impressive: loud and booming, it echoes over the calm sea. Well, even if he didn't already know that I'm not Ace, he would have understood by now. "HELLO FATHER, I AM HOME AGAIN" roared Ace joyfully, but at full volume with Dolby Surround Sound, regardless of the fact that I am the only person who can hear him. The volume makes me wince. "Sorry, I forgot," Ace mumbles guiltily. "Never mind, you're just happy to be home again," I tell him. Whitebeard stares at me again. "Ace sends his regards, and at a rather intense volume," I explain, the grin on his face widening and the expression in his eyes softening.

"Welcome home, son." He replied booming and I could feel Ace's joy. This in turn made me grin regardless of the situation; Ace was home again. Realizing however that I am being very rude, I bow and introduce myself, "I am Lucia pleased to meet you" Whitebeard laughs in response. "Not so polite child" laughs Whitebeard. Is everyone here really laughing all the time? I ask myself. "Arrive first, we will find a solution to your problem, until then you are part of this family for now and call me father" Whitebeard explains to me. "Please WHAT?" I just think. How can he offer a home and help to a stranger he knows nothing about, who comes from a strange world and lives in the body of his son? Whitebeard seems to have a clear idea of what I'm thinking and feels obliged to answer: "You have avenged one of my sons by killing the traitor and thereby saving the life of another son. Where you come from is not important here, we are all children of the sea. Besides, Ace seems delighted with you" He laughed again and I doubted his common sense, if that was his reasoning. I had saved myself and only found out about Ace later, besides at that moment I wasn't aware of who I was killing, I just wanted to get away, how can you just give someone your trust like that. "What you have done counts, I mean I have tried to kill father a hundred times and now I am one of his sons," Ace says proudly.
