Narrator's POV

Ace runs towards the bed in a panic and looks underneath. Lucia is not here either. He quickly searches the whole room. 'Lucia!' he asks frantically, but gets no answer. Ace rushes out the door and runs up to the deck. He throws open the door and yells, "LUCIA!" suddenly there is silence on the deck. "What are you yelling about?" Marco now asks Ace. "Lucia is not in bed, I can't find her or reach her!" says Ace frantically. "With your behaviour I wouldn't be surprised if she needs a break from you!" says Marco grinning. "That's not funny Marco! What if she's in danger!" retorts Ace agitatedly. Marco frowns and looks at Ace sceptically. Then he sighs and asks the group, "Who wants to look for the ship demon?" Several men raise their hands and go below deck. Ace storms after them, completely distraught. Marco turns to Whitebeard and asks him irritably, "Tell me father, doesn't Ace's behaviour seem strange to you?" Whitebeard just laughs. After a while the men come back on deck, now not only Ace is nervous. "We can't find her!" now says one, while Ace looks pale. "Ace did you reach her?" asks Marco still relaxed. "No, what if something happened to her, I shouldn't have let her out of my sight!" whines Ace, confirming Marco's opinion that Ace is acting plenty weird. He's not usually that overprotective.

Marco puts his hand to the root of his nose, thinking. The only one who could have kidnapped her is the rookie. "Trafalgar Law!" he says now. Ace head jerks up and he growls, "I knew we shouldn't have trusted him." "Now calm down Ace, the kid's not stupid. Nothing is going to happen to Lucia!" says Marco soothingly. Ace runs his hands through his hair in panic, "What if he hurts her? Or does something else to her. That guy gives me the creeps!" says Ace, completely distraught. Marco, who thinks Ace is exaggerating, says sarcastically: "Or what if she falls in love with him? I mean he's good looking, intelligent and Lucia herself has admitted he's worth a sin." Ace's eyes tear up and he turns pale as the crew shouts indignantly, "MARCO!" Marco slaps his hand to his forehead. Then he sighs in surrender and says, "So first of all Lucia loves you and isn't thinking of taking anyone else. Secondly anyone who kidnaps this demon gives her back willingly after three hours, but if you can't wait we'll go find her!" Ace looks less pale now. "Then unpack your Lucia tracking skills and tell us where she is. You and I will go get her then!" says Marco. Ace shoots his eyes and opens them again. When Ace opens his eyes he sees the golden ribbon connecting him and Lucia. He quickly goes to his Striker and jumps on it. Before Marco can say anything, Ace takes off.

Lucia's POV

I open my eyes tiredly. Somehow I have the feeling I haven't really slept. I feel for Ace with my hand. But the other side of the bed is empty. Grumbling, I open my eyes, has Ace really been gone all night now? But instead of warm wooden walls, cold metal walls await me. I sit up in a jolt. What the hell? As if on cue, the door opens and Law makes his entrance. I look at him in disbelief. Is he fucking serious?

"Really you kidnapped me?" I ask him, stunned. He grins at me and leans against the wall. "You haven't answered all my questions yet!" he says calmly. "Yes I have!" I contradict annoyed. "I don't think so!" he says simply. "But I'm not telling you anything else!" I switch to stubborn. Law walks up to me and says, "I'll get you to do it!" he says grinning darkly. I just look at him mockingly. "And how, may I ask?" I ask him. "I have ways and means!" he says to me. I just snort in amusement, "If you hurt me, Whitebeard and Ace will kill you. You drug me, Ace and Marco will kill you." Law growls, but then grins. He comes even further towards me. 'Don't drool Lucia!' I admonish myself, that would make a mockery of my whole statement. 'Lucia, are you all right?' I hear Ace in my head. Oh hopefully he didn't hear my statement before. 'Are you with the rookie?' Ace asks me. Law has used the time of my mental absence to get on top of me. He pushes me into the mattress, grinning, and places his right knee between my legs. "Umm," I made, as there was a lull in my brain at the moment. Must the bastard be aware of how good he looks? 'Lucia is everything alright?' Ace asks me. But I can't answer him right now.
