Lucia POV

I grin at Smoker, who looks at me suspiciously. "Lucia, whatever's on your mind, don't do it," Ace whines. "So right now you're on my mind," I reply. I turn to the barman and order two rums. "Why two? Are you really going to shoot yourself down?" asks Ace cluelessly. I grin wider. "Oh you poor clueless one," I laugh. "Please what?" asks Ace irritated. Well then, let's psychologically traumatize Smoker. I shove one of the two rums at him. Then I grin charmingly and wink at him. "You don't want to...? Lucia cut the bullshit, for God's sake!" roars Ace. I'm already laughing myself silly in my mind. Smoker looks at me irritated and doesn't even think about accepting the rum. Good plan B. I move the stool closer to Smoker. He looks at me darkly. "Fighting is forbidden on this island!" he growls, as if he doesn't like this decision at all. It probably doesn't. I start grinning real dirty and say in a dark voice, "I'm sure they don't mind the kind of fighting I have in mind!" I run my finger over Smoker's arm. "LUCIA CUT THAT CRAP!!!" yells Ace sourly. I really have to stifle a laugh, because Smoker looks slightly shocked. But that's not enough for me. I move even closer to him and snuggle up to him. I look at him from below and notice that he wants to get up. "You're not trying to escape from a pirate, are you?" I breathe and notice how Smoker freezes. I have to grin even wider. I lean down to Smoker's ear and breathe, "Fire and smoke, is there a better mix? So beautifully hot and explosive!" I run my finger down Smoker's bare stomach. Why isn't he wearing a shirt either? "Lucia please stop, I'm about to throw up" whines Ace. "I think he is too" I laugh. Smoker seems to be caught in some kind of shock freeze and looks greenish. "Should I kiss him?" I ask gloatingly. "NO!!!" roars Ace. I grin and lean over to Smoker's face. His eyes get bigger and more fright-filled the closer I get. I think he's going to quit the Marines.

I'm almost at his lips when something grabs my ear and pulls me away. What the hell? I turn to the person and see Marco. Oops? Ace exhales in relief as I whine. He's really holding my ear. "Marco what are you doing?" I ask snivelling, my poor ear. "Enough marine traumatized for today, you're coming with me!" he says sternly. I turn to Smoker as best I can and throw him another kiss on the hand. I think I have completely disturbed him now. He looks after me with huge eyes. Or is he interested after all? "Lucia why did you have to touch him?" says Ace.I laugh and whine at the same time because Marco pulls me out of the bar by my ear and doesn't think of letting go. "Marco, now let go of my ear, Ace is going to need that!" I whine to the street. "No and he doesn't need it anyway because he never listens. He has that in common with a certain person." Retorts Marco. "I don't know right now if I should be offended or laugh at you," Ace says amusedly, apparently deciding to laugh. Marco meanwhile pulls me by the ear further down the street to another bar. Great, and the change of location has done exactly what now? In the bar are already some Whitebeard pirates, who let themselves get drunk. Whitebeard was sitting in a corner with the commanders and laughs himself silly when he sees Marco dragging me in by the ear. I finally get my ear back from Marco and I rub it in pain. Marco sits down grinning in the corner to Whitebeard, who in turn asks what I have done. Marco laughs and says, "Damaged a marine for the rest of his life!" I have to grin again while Marco tells what I did. So he really did watch everything. Why didn't he intervene before? I see the answer in his eyes: Malicious glee.

Ace pouts and I reach for the rum on the table. I drink the glass in one go. I still have something to prove to Ace. I go to the bar and order another glass. I know it's a completely idiotic idea, but you only live once. Marco stands next to me and asks, "What's this going to be when it's done?" I drink the next glass empty and already order a new one. "I still have to prove to Ace that I can very well take something." I say, already slurring. "I hope you didn't bet, because you're going to lose that bet." He says amused, but doesn't stop me from drinking. I already have to grin stupidly and order another glass. I drink it again in one gulp. "How do I want to pay for this again?" comes to my mind rather late. "That occurs to you rather late!" Ace laughs again. Apparently he found the action with Smoker funny in the end. I grin stupidly and wobble around on my chair. And already the next glass comes. I won't be able to stand it much longer. "Shouldn't you maybe stop?" Ace asks me worriedly. I just keep grinning and am about to drink another glass when it is taken from my hand. I look up and see Marco looking at me. "I think you've had enough." He says with amusement and pulls me off the stool. Then he drags me by the arm to the corner and sits me down on a bench. I squat in the corner, grinning too hard, and am looked at with amusement by the other commanders. "Lucia?" Ace now asks. "Yeah?" I ask. "Did you really meet Roger?" he asks me. "Yeahha," I giggle. Ace is silent. "How was he?" he then asks uncertainly. "Niiiccceeee" I slur my words. Great, now I'm already slurring my words. Ace is right, I really can't take anything. "Nice?" asks Ace. I continue to grin. I sense Ace's insecurity. "Hee haaaas a fuunny beeaarrd" I laugh. By now the alcohol seems to have really hit. "I thiiiink Rooogrrrer looovvees youuu" I slur out completely. "What?" asks Ace. But by now the whole world is wobbling, or was I the one wobbling? My eyelids get heavier and heavier and I fall asleep.
