I went out on deck, where a cloudy sky awaited me. Searchingly, I look around. Who could I ask about my request? Further ahead I see Marco standing, but to him I do not go voluntarily, who knows what punishment has occurred to him. But I don't recognize anyone else, only Whitebeard. 'Right great, the choice between plague and cholera' I think. "Hey!!!" complains Ace, who probably didn't find it as titillating as I refer to Whitebeard. 'It's just a figure of speech' I defend myself and finally walk up to Whitebeard. "Good morning" I greet him properly. He laughs and greets me as well. "Uh I wanted to ask where the striker is, there are some things in the storage room that I would like to have back" I ask. Whitebeard waves a pirate over who was standing behind me and tells him to get my stuff. It's not like I have two healthy legs. Whitebeard looks at me and I raise my eyebrows questioningly. I wonder what he wants from me. "What's the last thing you remember from when you were in your own body?"he asks. I think and say, "I was cutting vegetables and something was behind me." "Nothing else?" asks Whitebeard. I try to remember but just get another beastly headache. I hold my head. "What's wrong?" asks Ace. 'Headache' I reply. After a few minutes the headache subsides. I look at Whitebeard again, he has frowned. Does he know something? "Do you have any idea what might have happened?" I ask him cautiously. "Hmm" he replies "don't be so polite child". I sigh and watch the pirate come back with my stuff. He hands me the stuff and I am happy to see the old book again, even intact from the storm. I reach for the book joyfully and hear Ace groan. He just doesn't know what's good. I look at Whitebeard and ask him if I am dismissed. He laughs and tells me to leave. I look for a shady place and lean against the railing. "This is boring!" Ace grumbles. 'Then find something else to do,' I tell Ace, amused. "You're funny again," he says, offended. I giggle and start reading. Some legend about two brothers and a demon. Interesting tale. Ace tries to distract me, which doesn't work. Who can study in a full library, can study under any condition. Be it also an annoying D with boredom. But after a while I notice glances that are directed at me and just won't let go. Really annoying. I lift my head and see how some men look at me completely disturbed. "What's going on?" I ask irritated.

"That's wrong, just wrong!" murmurs one distraught. Pardon? I thought they'd gotten used to me and Ace sharing a body. "What's wrong?" I ask, irritated. "Ace and a book," says the person addressed, and everyone else nods. I look at the cluster of people, disturbed. "Doesn't Ace read at all?" I ask. "Yes!," retorts Ace, offended. "Yes, and what?" I ask. I am really curious to hear the answer. "The menus in the bars" he replies, of course. I wonder if I should let that count. I decide yes, after all I didn't specify what was meant by reading. I sigh and turn to the men, "You should get used to the sight, because I like to read." The men still nod distraught and scatter to the winds. "And Ace stays quiet while you are reading?" I hear Marco's voice ask. "Not really, but I have a lot of young cousins, once you watch them you have nerves of steel. Even the table fireworks won't change that" I say. Marco nods and beckons me to follow him. What does he want now? I stand up and follow Marco. "It's always bad to follow Marco, he always has terrible tasks" says Ace shuddering. 'Could it be that you demonize Marco?' I ask, amused. Ace snorts and says sullenly, "You've seen for yourself what punishment he has". I laugh and Marco looks at me funny, I decide to ignore him and think to Ace: 'If Marco doesn't take it over who will? Think what would happen if Marco wasn't there'. "There would be less punishments!" Ace says convinced. I resign myself to so little foresight. I end the conversation and turn back to Marco, whom I have been following all the time. He has stopped in front of a door. I sense Ace's horror and am curious to see what lies behind the door. What can scare an intrepid D so much. "RUN AWAY!!!" roars Ace. I raise my eyebrows. "What's behind the door?" I ask Marco. The latter grins and calmly says, "The commanders' workrooms" I raise my eyebrows in question. Marco opens the door and behind it I see a rather nice room. Several tables with comfortable armchairs in front of them. Chandeliers pleasantly illuminate the room. All along the walls were filled bookshelves.
