To my dearest Percy,You should've seen the sincere joy when your letter arrived. By chance, your sister was visiting for tea, and to check if I'm alright. Oh, she was in tears almost instantly. I just let all of my frustrations out with a loud sigh. I know you didn't say a lot, but it means so much to us here at home. I wish I could speak my mind as well as you do, but I can't. You have such a way with words darling, and make sure I hear them once more!
I never knew I would be so happy hearing the news of you being in a hospital. Nonetheless I must ask, is your injury serious? I really hope it isn't. Oh, and now I've started worrying.
The "Letter follows at first opportunity" also made my head clearer. You always keep your promises, and I know you'll keep this one.
My stomach is very obvious now, I can sometimes feel a kick.
Love,
Rosie.xx
P. S. - Do not sugar-coat your injury. You often lie about something hurting so I wouldn't be surprised if you'd want to spare me some worry.
