The Practical Test

Everyone was waiting for the test to start. Some were nervous, some were confident. And among them, a certain monkey lad didn't care at all.

Wukong chose to participate bare-chest while Sanzang had brought several metal hoops to help her.

Sanzang: "I'm really glad we are together in the same area." She sighed, relieved. "Makes me feel less nervous."

Wukong: "You're aware that if I destroy a robot, the points won't belong to you, right?"

Sanzang: "Of course, I know that! It doesn't matter. I can obtain the necessary points recquired myself." She clenched her fist while raising it in front of her chest.

Meanwhile, the monkey king slowly realized something.

Wukong: "(If I don't pass while she does...it'd mean that I won't have her on my back all the time and I could be free...)" He smiled widely. "(Yes!)"

Sanzang: "Don't you try and fail this test."

Wukong: "I don't know what you're talking about."

Sanzang: "You have an ear-to-ear smile, Wukong. Well, just remember that if you fail, you can't keep your title of 'king'." She smirked smugly, in a mischievous way similar to the monkey lad. "After all, you wouldn't be worthy anymore." Her expression then turned innocent, just like an angel.

Then, the start was announced.

Sanzang: "Welp, good luck, Wukong!"

She left him as the exam began. The lad remained there, standing, deep in thought, while everyone ran into the urban area.

Wukong: "(Wait! She's right. I can't afford myself to fail, I...I'm a king! I... No! She's just playing with me. She's trying to manipulate me using trigger words such as 'king' and 'worthy'. But...she ain't wrong though...)"

He scratched his head with both hands while entering the area and, immediately after, a robot came out of nowhere. Wukong easily destroyed it with a swing of his Ruyi Jingu Bang that he just created.

Wukong: "(I hate you, Sanzang...)" He thought as he shrank in a puff of smoke.

[Create Ruyi Jingu Bang from his hair. Sun Wukong can manipulate its size, weight and can even call it to him. Creating Ruyi Bang makes him shrink in size after a few seconds, going from 175cm (5'9") to approximately 145cm (4'9"), and decrease all his physical abilities by quite a lot.]

The clothes he wears were all designed to adapt to his size change. No worries here!

Wukong: "Tsk. I don't even need Ruyi Bang for this." He was disappointed as a robot appeared behind him, Wukong destroyed it by striking with the back of his hand. After a few seconds, he sighed and slightly slumped. "But it's so fun to use Ruyi Bang..."

Sanzang used her Quirk to shrink the robots she encountered to then destroy them by throwing them full force against walls or by smashing them with debris. The former often didn't work so she had to resort to crushing the robots with everything she could get her hand on.

Thankfully, some explosive boy had destroyed some stuff here and there, creating lots of debris for Sanzang to use. The young girl sometimes shrank these things, like pieces of the ground or robot parts, to then hurl them. She would deactivate her Quirk right before the moment of impact so the objects would regain their size and weight in order to inflict much more damage and, hopefully, destroy the machines.

After touching multiple objects, Sanzang can "shrink" the distance between the objects she had touched.
She used this to her advantage here too, of course. She attracted two bots towards one another so they would break on contact. She repeated that several times.
