Alice
The cold was suffocating, the icy cool pulling the warm air from my lungs like a vacuum.
"Harry!" I called, "Help!"
His figure wavered before me like a mist. But he wasn't my Harry. He was older, more handsome. His face was rugged but happy, his eyes shone with something. Something that had only ever been directed at me. But this time, it wasn't
It was love.
Soon, a new figure walked up to mist Harry wrapping her slim arms around him.
It was Ginny.
She was older too, her face had lost all baby fat and was far less round. Her body had filled out and her hair swayed around her hips instead of her shoulders. He laughed and looked down at her, his hands caressing the side of her face gently with one long finger.
"You're so beautiful." Mist Harry whispered as he buried his face in her hair, breathing deeply.
"I have never loved or cared for anyone as much I do you."
Mist Ginny giggled, hugging him close to her. She stood on her tippy toes, pressing her lips against his.
"Harry!" I gasped. Why wouldn't he look at me? I was his sister, he loved me, he said that he always would.
The cold was suffocating me, filling my lunges with cold air and ice instead of oxygen, my head was swimming and my chest constricted tightly.
Mist Harry and Mist Ginny slowly seemed to age, soon a new mist figure appeared. A small boy with Harry's hair and Ginny's eyes who ran around their legs squealing happily.
"James!" Mist Ginny said, laughing, scooping him up into her arms. Harry's smile was bright as he looked at the two. "I love you Ginny."
His voice seemed muffled, less sharp. Like my head was submerged under waters
Black spots danced around my vision, my head was becoming to heavy to keep up
"Harry." My voice have barley a whisper, I was falling, falling so fast. The mist people followed, talking and laughing. Four more figures joined the picture, two boy and two girls.
Ron suddenly came into existence, a women with bushy brown hair and intelligent brown eyes and two small kids, one, a girl, with brown/red hair and blue eyes and a smaller boy with red hair and brown/blue eyes stood next to him, Harry laughed with him, had fun with them, yet I was nowhere.
Harry had forgotten about me.
I coughed and spluttered but still the mist Harry ignored me as he kissed Ginny lightly on the forehead, whispering sweet nothings to her.
My eyesight clouded over and I was weightless.
*
I woke up in a cold sweat, my body shaking.
I crawled out of my bed and stumbled towards Harry and Ron's room, nearly tripping on at least twelve steps on the way up.
"Harry." I whispered, shaking his shoulder. He slowly opened his emerald eyes and looked at me, his eyes foggy with sleep.
"Alice?" He asked groggily, trying to sit up.
"C-can I stay with you?" I whispered, wringing my hands nervously.
Harry nodded, sliding over, burring his face into his pillow.
I slid into the bed next to him curling into myself, falling asleep to Ron's loud snores and my brothers occasional mumbles.
~~~~~~~~~~
In the morning I was shaken awake by a soft hand.
"Ali, wake up." Harry was the one who was waking me up, his voice was quiet, reassuring like always.
I cracked my eyes open and was immediately assaulted by bright mid day light . I shut them immediately and tried again, a bit slower this time. Soon, my eyes adjusted to the light and I was able to focus on Harry's face.
"What time is it?" I mumbled sitting up, my head pounding.
"12. I didn't want to wake you. You seemed tired." He said quietly, his green eyes searching my face.
I groggily stand up and run a hand through my hair which was now as soft and clean as Ginny's, I was very proud of my hair. Suddenly the world veered sharply to the right and I found myself falling, falling so fast.
This time I felt Harry's hand grab my arm before the world went black.
*
When I wake up again the whole Weasley family, minus Aurther who was at work and Percy who didn't really like anyways, was around me, all staring."Ali!" Harry exclaimed and immediately began to fuss over me, "Are you cold? You're shivering. Do what some tea? Soup? Maybe a-."
"Rye!" I exclaim, my cheeks flaming red. My head was killing me and his jabbering wasn't really helping.
He always went into mother hen mode whenever I got sick or hurt. It could be slightly embarrassing at times.
Harry's own cheeks filled with color, his green eyes cast to the floor in embarrassment.
"Sorry." He mumbled, pulling at his lip, a nervous habit of his.
I laughed awkwardly, suddenly feeling bad for snapping at him.
"It's fine. Well, actually, I could go for a cup of tea." I said, licking my suddenly dry lips.
Harry came back not five minutes later with a steaming cup of lemon tea, looking relatively pleased with himself.
"Thanks Rye." I said quietly, cradling the chipped mug in my hands.
Harry smiles slightly, obviously pleased with himself, but still looking embarrassed.
"You're welcome." He mumbled, pulling at his lip again.
Mrs. Weasley looked at me with pity. "I flooed Dumbledore and I told him to send Hagrid over tomorrow instead alright?"
I nod. "Fine." I answer quietly, trying not to be mad.
I hated the look of pity she gave me. I'm prone to passing out. So what? I am not to be pitied. I can look after myself.
