"Harry." Alice whispered. "Remember when I got sick, that night you Ron and Hermione found that dog?"

Harry nodded, his eyes worried. "Yah, what's wrong?"

Alice hugged her body, shaking violently. "I came into my new powers." Harry sucked in sharply, looking her straight in the eye. "I can give people thoughts, make them see things." She looked like she was going to be sick.

Harry could see how worried she was. If she had just now come into new powers, Harry would be too, and it could happen at anytime. The problem was, when they came into new powers, their current powers went haywire and for a good two weeks after, they could be set off at any sort of negative emotion.

That night, Alice slept in Harry's bed for the first time in months.

Harry came into his new powers, which were oddly enough the same as Alice's. He spent the next two weeks half avoiding anyone that wasn't Alice. Ron and Hermione were obviously slightly hurt, but Ron knew that they would have done this eventually with the twins habit of secluding themselves from others, and tried to explain this to Hermione.

Potions class was hard, hard to the point where Harry had to leave the class before he decided that the over gown bat didn't a left arm.

Within two weeks, Harry's powers had settled in and he was trying to get himself back into his normal routine. He apologised to Ron and Hermione over and over, saying that he was just feeling "out of it."

They quickly forgave him and so the trio plus, feeling like a fourth wheel, Alice began their pranking crusade.

They pranked everyone at anytime. The best part was that no one even looked twice on them while Fred and George were around.

Over the summer Fred and George had said that they were the "ultimate twins" with their pranking skills and "good looks". Harry and Alice decided to prove them wrong.

Hermione and Alice were the brains behind the operation, Hermione reading the books out loud so Alice could follow easier and then they figured out what spells they would need.

Harry, Alice and Ron did the sneaking (Hermione didn't want to get caught). Ron figured where to place things and what was the best way to do something.

Harry and Alice did most of the actual pranking, and lying their way out of trouble when Fred and George had an alibi. They were obviously more skilled in lying than the others.

Classes with McGonagall were going good, Harry was able to read at a grade 5 level and Alice at a grade 3ish level. Harry was progressing faster seeing as he had an perfect memory. But his writing was horrible, sloppy and loopy, not a good combination.

Alice's on the other hand was coming along nicely, while her letters were often unattached, it was still readable.

A/N I'm so so so sorry for the short chapters lately. I'll try and make them longer and less crappy. Thank for reading!
