Forsaken

★ Chapter 22 ★

Starscream could hear the thunderous roar of a familiar jet behind him, it into closer and closer and yet he refused to turn around. His spark beating faster as his wings lowered in unison. This was one of those " oh shit" moments when you know something bad is going to happen but you just stand that Frozen. In denial.

Raff:" what is it Starscream?" 

it was no surprise to him that the human boy had seen the war II expression on his face. Out of all the loud pets, this one seemed the most intelligent. The seeker's mind raced. He couldn't lie to the human but he certainly did not want him to panic either. But what choice 

Starscream:" megatron is coming?" 

Raff:" what?! B-but Megatron, h-he!" 

Starscream:" Raff! You have to listen to me. You must run and hide!" 

Raff:" no! I won't let him hurt you!"

The seekers spark rippled as the human, clearly in distress wiped some lubricant. Its human glasses are taken off for a moment as it shivered and fear. Normally, he himself would have made an accusation that their human was weak but he could not help but finds himself in the same state. The only thing that helped him be composed was that If he ever wanted to see Asteria again, he needed to control himself. The memory of the warlord taking his little girl made a wave of anger sweep over him. The power to win suddenly taking hold. 

Starscream:" please Raff... I don't want you getting hurt" 

A small smile came over the human boy's face as the seeker's words sank it. Starscream inner devil rolled his optics at the pathetic words.

Raff:" that's Starscream... I never thought I would ever call you an Autobot or even a friend" 

No words could escape his lips as the human quickly ran off to hide. For a moment, he gave some thought into hiding behind a rock, but the idea was quickly shaken away.  It was unlikely that he would be able to hide without being seen. The idea of standing tall and ready seemed more appealing. Before he could make his final decision, the warlord spotted the seeker and transformed just a few feet away. He slowly opened his burning red optics and made confident strides over to the server. He knew it was a scare tactic, so the seeker sharped his claws and glared in return. Taunting charcoal escaped his vocal cords*

Megatron:" what are you doing Starscream? That is no way to greet your master" 

Starscream:" you are not my master... I obey Optimus prime" 

Megatron;" oh really? Tell me Starscream. How does it feel to turn your back on the Decepticons hm? How does it feel to bring shame to your trine brothers? How does it feel to lose everything you worked for?" 

Starscream:" how does it feel.. knowing your second in command works for the Autobots?" 

The seeker couldn't help but give a sweet smirk as the warlord's faceplate dropped into one of anger. 

Megatron:" you would do well to respect me Starscream. If you ever want to see your... precious sparkling"

Just like that. The role was reversed and the seeker's smirk became a deep glare of anger and regret. 

Starscream:" if you hurt her I will-" 

Megatron:" I have a proposition for you, Starscream. You see, you are correct about one thing. You are my second in command, a valuable asset. Rejoin the Decepticons and you may rejoin as before and you have the sparkling in your care. With all our supplies she will be well looked after. I will give you a moment to think, hm?" 

This was indeed something to think about. If Starscream wanted her little femme to have what she needed. He would need to rejoin. But on the other servo, he was an Autobot now and couldn't just leave-" 

Raff:" don't do it Starscream! Don't rejoin! We will find another way!" 

Starscream:" Raff no!" 

Within a split second the seeker was slammed to the side of the wall and the human snatched. It let out a tell of fright as Megatron held the human in his servo. 

Megatron:" well well, this certainly makes things easier. Rejoin the Decepticons Starscream. Or your precious human dies!" 

The seconds ticked by as Megatron tightened his grip on the human. A burning rage filled his body as he watched the human get hurt.

Starscream:" leave the human alone!"

Megatron:" what's it gonna be Starscream?"

As the human's body went limp. Starscream felt his spark give in. He glared back at the warlord as he gave him a victorious smirk.

Starscream:" ok! I will rejoin! Just let the human go!"

Megatron:" excellent choice Starscream"

Too much of his surprise, Megatron lowered the human to the floor leaving it be.

Megatron:" a deal is a deal"

Starscream felt his spark break once more as he watched the young boy softly call out his name before going into an unconscious state.

Megatron:" quickly Starscream. Your master awaits"

The seeker glanced back at the human... Before turning ped and following his master.
