Starscream awoke to the sound of a happy squeal. For the first time in a long time, he smiled as he sat up in berth. Typically, the seeker woke by the scream of Lord Megatron yelling his name, but today it was the sound of joy. He felt his spark fluttered as little Asteria greeted him with happy chirps. Her little body was wiggling in excitement as she cuddled close to his much larger frame.
Starscream:" Good morning. Asteria"
Asteria:" good morn, Daddy."
not wanting Asteria to get discouraged from trying, Starscream placed a gentle kiss on her helm as a reward.
Starscream:" good girl, Asteria."
Asteria began to happily bap her sire's chest as he sat up and stretched his wings. A sudden jolt of pain caused the seeker to let out a pitiful whimper. The instant she heard his grief, Asteria scrunched up her faceplate and whined. He attempted to soothe his little one by petting her cheek gently.
Starscream: "it's okay. Asteria. Daddy is okay."
Starscream felt his spark droop in sadness as she began to sob, desperately, she clung to him unsure of what to do but knowing he was in pain. The seeker grabbed a shard of Energon and handed it to her. Instantly she mouthed it, and that was that. The distraction was enough for her to forget as the seeker quickly got up and headed down the hallway to the main room. He hoped that the quick change of scenery would calm her down. As he began to get closer to the main hall, he groaned at the now-familiar sound of that human box — the Earth children. For reasons beyond him, they seem to enjoy using their hands with some strange device on the screen. He really didn't know much about human culture, nor did he really can't learn it, if such knowledge did not benefit him, he was not interested in learning it. The base filled with the beeps of the inferior Technology is that the medic worked on. It was almost as if he had not moved from his spot at all since he last saw him. For a minute, the secret wondered if that was true. Surely that many hours on that Monitor was not good for him, he was about to voice his opinion to when suddenly the small female human leaned over and shouted too loudly for his liking.
Miko:" Morning, screamy!"
He hated that nickname, but unfortunately, he was unable to retaliate knowing very well that if he did anything to those humans, he would be the one in serious trouble. Curiously, the seeker walked closer to the earth children to investigate these strange customs.
Miko:" you wanna play a game?"
The human waved the handheld device in her hands. The seeker merely huffed. Even if he wanted to be involved in this pitiful Playtime, that object was too small for him. Unless they had a robot sized one accustoms for Cybertronians, he did not see how his long claws could grasp that object. Again, he was going to voice his opinion, but he quickly concluded that perhaps the human was trying to be friendly. The human, Miko did not appear to be terrified of him at all. Was it gutsy, or was it stupid? Perhaps the logical reason was that the medic was close by, he inwardly smirked knowing that the practitioner had no way of actually stopping him if he decided to attack. He was confident that he was much more durable.
Starscream:" Decepticons do not waste time playing games."
Perhaps it came out rude, but Back on the nemesis when he was still the first Lieutenant, the seeker had to be healthy. He had to be offensive. Decepticons were hard to control if they had a chance to walk all over you. Thankfully, however, the human did not appear to be offended. Instead, she seems to chuckle in an understanding of his behaviour.the oldest human. Jack was staring blankly at the screen, most likely an attempt not to stir up conflict With the seeker. Most likely unsure of how to act around him. The smaller human Raf turned his head and smiled at the seeker politely.
