When Starscream arrived at the harbinger, Starscream knew from the get-go that it was going to take every ounce of patience he could muster not to charge after the so-called wretch Airachnid. He hated that femme spider with a passion, almost as much as he hated listening to Knockout go on about himself. Starscream scoffed as he kicked some rocks out his path bitterly. He had to admit. He was going to miss what was perhaps his one and only friend. Despite being full of ego, Knockout was good company and was one of the single people who listened to his never-ending problems. Having someone to vent to in this world of war, eased his consciousness on what had happened to their beloved home planet. It was ironic really, the very people who had helped destroy Cybertron and whom he had hated for many years he was now working beside. Starscream never thought in 1 million years that he would be working with a prime, but Even with Optimus by their side, this was going to be a challenge to defeat the sneaky little femme. The thought of her screaming in pain with total control of her pathetic short life caused a faint smirk to appear on his faceplate. He loved the idea of that wretch finally getting what she deserved. For a moment, he was enjoying himself until Prime noticed his face written thoughts. The Prime looked down at the Seeker with his excellent blue optics.

Optimus:" Starscream. If we find Airachnid, you are not to engage her. Call for backup, and we will battle her United. Is that understood?

Curse the Prime for being so intuitive. He knew what the Seeker was thinking. It was a simple order but not one the Seeker could follow, not after what she had done. Forcing a fake smile, the Seeker nodded in agreement.

Starscream:" understood, prime"

And just like that, an inner in the war began to ravage inside of him. He did not wish to follow the orders of the Prime, not at all. The battle was extremely personal to him. How could he possibly track this order? There was no way he was going to follow! But on the other servo, If he did not track the law, the betrayal to the team could destroy the trust that he had gained with his new "friends" now he faced a decision. Betray his friends and fulfil one of his last remaining dreams, or Open more doors to potential alliances. Starscream never really cared about friends, But this was more than that. Stuck in his thoughts, the Seeker almost bumped his head on the back of Optimus's back. Too much of his delight, nobody had noticed the embarrassing mistake. He was somewhat surprised that they were all walking in front of him rather than behind him. It was a clear sign that they willing to give him a chance, it made the decision he needed to make even more laborious. Looking past the body of the large Prime, the time for thinking had gone now. They had arrived at the harbinger.

Optimus:" Starscream, if you would, I would like you to lead the way since you know the way around the ship."

Nodding in agreement, he took a few steps forward before suddenly being stopped by the Prime. His wings stood in confusion. Was he in trouble?

Optimus:" you are concerned about Airachnid, correct?

Frag. Starscream wanted to keep it to himself, but the Prime was just too good, he didn't even notice that he was wearing a scowl on his face until it was too late. The Prime knew that he was upset. That means he had to have figured out he had the choice to betray them or work together against her. Judging from what they knew him as in the past, he assumed they automatically jumped to the conclusion and that he had made the decision to betray them. He expected to prime to begin a lecture, but instead, he offered a kind smile.

Optimus:"'I support your choice."

At first, the Seeker really couldn't believe that he had said that. Was he giving him the green to sink to betrayal?! What?! confusion and annoyance flooded his body as he looked up at the Prime for answers.

Optimus:" given what had happened to you in the past regarding Airachnid, I fully understand how you feel and that you would wish to... Solve the problem. But know, you are not alone. We are here beside you to find her together. And as it so happens, Arcee also feels the same way. However, you may not kill her. Part of being an Autobot is spearing all life."

He already knew that the two-wheeler had similar feelings towards the shared enemy, but he did not wish to share. He wanted to kill her for himself, but perhaps just this once they could work together to destroy her as a team.

Optimus:' shall we continue? "

With the current issues aside the Seeker begin to lead the way in an all too familiar sight. He had been aboard the ship leeching it for some Energon Long go. The vessel, well known for travelling contraband back-and-forth between planets. Once it had, crashed, it had been stripped of anything and evacuated. Starscream knew the chance of finding anything left here was something beyond what he could offer, but from the very beginning, he had only come for one thing. He dragged his large clawed servo along the walls wiping off the remaining dust that left behind. It was such a lovely ship. It was such a shame that it had ended this way. A small smile formed onto his faceplate. At times in his life, starscream had dreamt of having his ship to command.

The idea bubbled in his spark, leaving him with a brief moment of happiness. As quickly as that feeling came, it disappeared. That was no longer an option. Giving up his dreams was hard, but sometimes, one must rise above themselves for the greater good. Hearing himself think that made his wings groan in protest. He was becoming just like them. Starscream checked, room to room, and there was not a scrap left. He checked in every cavity, every cupboard before when he was looking for something for his little girl to eat. He knew this place was empty, and the tiniest amount of him felt bad for not telling his Conrads. Picturing his little girl safe at the base happily Breaking the medics tools filled him with such delight. He couldn't help it as he felt a warm flush as his face carved up into a pleasant smile. Smiling, this was something that he had not heard the word of or done himself in a long time. Finally reaching the end of the ship that had broken in half when it had crashed, he let out a sigh of annoyance.

Starscream:" the other half of the ship is through the arch. It broke off when it crashed. We should turn around to go ba-"

He had not noticed it before, but now it was something that he could not um-see. On the dirt wall, what is a noticeable large hole, But not just any breach? The very same kind of mess that the wretch had used to escape her predicament. Airachnid washer and there was no denying it. Before he could even comprehend what to do next, a force shoved him against the wall, and a blue blur sped past him.

Optimus:" Arcee, wait!"

A sudden bounce of rage knocked at the door as the Seeker turned heel and raced for the exit. There was no way that he was going to allow her to have all the fun! He didn't even hear her, but if she was, there was no way he was missing out. Ignoring the Primes callings, the Seeker charged outside, making his way towards the battle. The sound of weapons clashing together followed by cry despair, filled his spark with glee. She was here, and she was finally going to get what was coming to her. As he got closer, the sound stopped. He felt his sins crawling on his back. In a vice grip around her neck and with the tantalising smirk, Airachnid daringly held her poisonous claw against the t struggling two-wheelers throat.

Airachnid:" Oh, hello, Starscream~ welcome to the battle!"

Starscream:" Let her go you wretch!

Arachnid:" Let her go? Wait, don't tell me. Did you side with the bots? Hahaha! That is too precious! Never thought you would ever sink that low...Very well then since you seem to be "Autobuddies" and I like my games... Come any closer, and I will kill her, and you can have me all to yourself. Save her and let me go. My, My, whatever will you choose, better choose quickly, my patience is running thin! Knowing you Starscream, this will be an easy decision.
