RAMONA TIREDLY rubbed her eyes, tuning out whatever Kai was saying as the whispers in her head began to resurface, muttering hushed dark tales into her ears. Her mind was foggy and the words spewing from the boys mouth besides her were muffled her frazzled brain only being able to focus in on the dark words being whispered into her ear.

Unconsciously she lightly ran her hand over her left ear, a signal of the noise in her head. Damon nudged her, making her dull, confused eyes turn to him with furrowed brows,

"What?" She asks softly, visibly tired

"You okay?"

The question made Kai stop his madman rambling, big blue eyes turning to the banshee. She closed her eyes, pulling her hand through her hair as she sighed.

"That's a good question, Damon. Wish I knew the answer." She muttered in response

"Is it happening again?" He asks softly, unaware of Kai's staring

She nods slightly, leaning back against the couch and tilting her head back, "Oh, yeah. Last night only made it worse."

"What's happening again? What's worse?" The boy tied to the chair asked

"Voices equal death. Nightmares equal visions. Visions equal whispers. Whispers equal screaming." The girl explained softly, turning her eyes to him

Kai could clearly see the dark bags brushed under her soft eyes and frowned, "You didn't go back to sleep when you went back upstairs?" He questions and she shakes her head

"Couldn't if I tried. It felt I was being stabbed to death." She answered honestly, she shuddered at the memory, hand flying to her spleen, "Then I was choking, then drowning, then a myriad of other things."

"Why didn't you wake someone up?" Damin demands, worried

She shrugs, bowing her head, "I didn't wanna bother you guys. I know my scream hurt you and you like to sleep." Her voice was soft and she was frowning at her hands

Damon sat besides her, the worry clear on his face, "Peaches, you can't take this all by yourself."

She doesn't respond, feeling guilt bubble in her stomach as she bites the side of her cheek, thinking.

"It's my problem." She mutters finally, "You guys should focus on getting up iut of here and not on me."

The banshee forces a small smile, "I can handle it, Puddin'."

"You're a horrible liar." He states, standing up and moving towards the phone, "I'm gonna tell James."

Rae shot to her feet, eyes wide with panic as she yelled out, "No!" She rushes in front of him ungracefully, tripping on her feet, "No, no, no! Don't ─ please, don't tell him!" She begged, holding her hands out in front of her to stop him
