RAMONA STANDS besides Bonnie, who had insisted she stand there because "your presence is calming and I like you more than them." end quote. In her pale hands she holds a book, casually flipping through the pages as Kai stands behind her, chin resting on her shoulder as he read through it with her.
He's eyes didn't really stay on the page though, from time to time as she whispered the words to herself he'd look to her lips, watching carefully as they formed words he could barely hear. Or he's spend time studying her face, curious eyes finding the small almost invisible scars lightly spread across it.
Sometimes she'd catch him staring, her dark eyes softening and lips no longer forming words but offering him a soft smile that he wished to kiss off her face. Kai didn't know where these feelings were coming from, but he guessed it was because she was the only girl he'd seen in eighteen years and holy shit she was hot.
"Phasmatos Tribum, Nas Ex Veras, Sequitas Sanguinem." Bonnie chants from besides them, eyes dropping to thee blood lying on the map, but she notices it hasn't moved, "It doesn't feel right. Maybe I need a bigger map?" She offers with furrowed brows
Ramona hums in agreement, shutting her book and tucking it up her arm while Kai remains with his chin on his shoulder, "You can always channel me if you'd like."
"I'd like to channel you." Kai muttered in her ear, his hot breath fanning across her neck, lips ghosting across her skin
Her cheeks flare and she clears her throat, shifting away from him as his hands lightly touch her hips as he moves away from her, smirking. Under her gaze she feels herself grow more flustered.
It's only because he's the only other guy you've seen in months, that's it. She thought to herself
Damon comes inside and drops the newspaper on the table, "Maybe you're just out of practice and you suck at magic now."
Rae puckers her lips, Well, I could always do The Search." She offers, only to be immediately shut down
But Kai's interest is piqued.
"Absolutely not."
"Rae, no."
"Over my dead body, Mona."
"Well Bonnie is still getting used to her magic seeing as she just got it back, Kai can't do anything that we know of, James is human and Damon you don't have magic so unless you have any better ideas, I think we should do it." She explains calmly, holding her book to her chest
