The Re-encounter

Thabi : Ndalo meet Mnqobi , Mnqobi this is my amazing friend Ndalo.

Mnqobi stared at me as i threw daggers at him with my eyes.

Mnqobi : Miss Nda-

Me : what are you doing here ? What is he doing here ?

I gave Thabi a look and you could tell that she was confused.

Thabi : what's going on ?

Me : remember the man who insulted me when i went to fetch Ney's things?

Thabi's eyes enlarged as she gave Mnqobi a look who was rubbing his forehead.

Thabi: Mnqobi ?!

Mnqobi :please believe me when i say I'm sorry about what transpired that day i was not in the right state of min-

Thabi : whatever stare of  mind you were in you don't have the right to insult a stranger ! Worse a woman at that that's not the Mnqobi i know !

Mnqobi :  i know Thabz and i know it's no excuse, even after what happened i felt really bad and followed intokazi lah ( the lady ) to apologise but she wouldn't let me ...

He looks at me

Mnqobi : ntokazi ngicela ungkholwe mangithi ngiyaxolisa ngakhokonke engikshilo and bewuqinisile uMa angadinwa agane unwabu makangezwa ngelento leh akangkhulisanga njalo ngicela ungxolele ntokazi enhle ( my lady please believe me when i say I'm sorry about everything that i said that day and you were right my mom would be very furious if she heard about what happened she didn't raise me that way . Please forgive me beautiful lady)

His Zulu accent melted my heart i don't know why but there's something about a Zulu man. I nodded at him

Me : it's fine i forgive you just don't go around letting out your frustrations on other people .

Mnqobi : Thank you very much and I'll learn to deal with my emotions

Thabi : good ! Now lets get this party started friend uzonglandela ( you will follow me) with the garlic bread right, oh and Mnqobi please bring those two bottles of wine.

Thabi left as Mnqobi grabbed the two bottles that were on the counter and i grabbed the bowl of garlic bread . I walked out the door and Mnqobi was walking behind me , i could feel him looking at my butt.

We reached the patio and i must say Thabi really outdid herself with the setup. There were fairy lights on the wooden wall like structure and night lights sensors from the wall brightening it up . A rectangular wooden table made out of mahogany on the middle with matching chairs . There was silver cutlery and marble white plates perfectly placed on the table. The food was placed in the middle of the table and it sure looked good.
At the table i noticed there were two chairs empty next to each other that meant Mnqobi would be next to me .  I sat down next to Kelly who was next to Tshepo and Mnqobi came to sit next to me, Nobuhle and Siya were opposite us , Funeka and Kgosi were opposite Kelly and Tshepo . Thabi and Thami were seated on the far ends of the table opposite each other Thami. We ate over some good music and good conversations. After our meal we decided to take the party indoors and now there was alcohol all over the place . Everyone was drinking and having fun.

In the midst of it all I recieved a text from Nelisa and i went outside to give her a call just to check up on her. I ended up in my car as we talked . After 15 minutes we ended the call and someone knocked on my window. I turned my head to check who it was and it was Mnqobi . I rolled down my window

Mnqobi: can i talk to you for a sec , please ?

I got out of the car and he had two wine glasses in his hand as well as a bottle of wine.
