Patrick woke up around 9 and smiled at the woman still sound asleep in his arms. He would have to wake her up soon, since her doctors appointment is at 10.

"El." Patrick whispered. Ellen stirred but did not wake. "Ellie." He said a little louder. "Ellie, you gotta wake up. Your appointment is in an hour." Patrick said. "Mm I'm awake." Ellen moaned as she turned in his hold. She smiled and rested her head on his chest. Patrick leant down and kissed her head lightly.

They laid together for a few minutes before finally getting up. Ellen got ready in the bathroom while Patrick made a quick breakfast downstairs.

Ellen got herself to the top of the stairs before calling for Patrick. He came running up the steps and swooped her into his arms, much as he had done in previous days. He set her down and quickly grabbed her crutches and handed them to her. She smiled and pecked his lips chastely. "Oh! Sorry! I don't know if we're doing that...." Ellen said as a blush graced her face. Patrick smiled at how flustered she was and cupped her face before pressing his lips against hers and kissing her deeply.

He pulled away and looked at her. "We're doing that. If you want." He said with a big smile. Ellen blushed and wrapped her arms around him. He followed her actions and did the same. "Thank you." Ellen said genuinely. "Thank you El." Patrick parroted. They broke away from the hug and quickly at their breakfast.

Patrick helped Ellen into the car and once they were settled in, he started driving. "El?" Patrick asked. "Yeah?" She replied as she turned and looked at him. "Are we...a couple? I know we've only kissed a few times, but-." Patrick started. "If you want to be, that sounds good to me. I really like you Pat. And that totally sounds like middle school talk, but I do." Ellen said with a blush. "Okay." Patrick said with a smile. He reached over the console and placed his hand gently on her thigh. She covered his hand and they resumed their drive.

Once they got to the doctors, Patrick went around the car put his arm around Ellen's small waist and helped her out. He handed her the crutches and they slowly made their way in to the building, ignoring the paparazzi around them.

Ellen checked herself in and the doctor took her right away. They enetered a room and Patrick helped her onto the table.

"Okay. You want the arm or leg cast off first?" The doctor asked.  "Leg. I hate that thing." Ellen said with a giggle. "Okay. I'm gonna prop it up and get my saw. It won't hurt. Just stay as still as possible please." The doctor instructed. Patrick took Ellen's hand and held it comfortably. The doctor turned the saw on and starting cutting through the cast.

"This is much different than at work, huh?" Patrick said, trying to distract Ellen. "Yeah it is." Ellen agreed with a laugh. The doctor pulled off the cast and Ellen sighed in relief. "Oh thank god." She sighed.

"I need to shower when we get home." Ellen said to Patrick. Patrick nodded and squeezed her hand. "Now put your arm up here." The doctor said as he pointed to a table. "And just stay as still as possible." He said as he began cutting again.

Once the cast was off, Ellen flexed her hand and smiled. "Okay. You should be all set." The doctor said with a smile. "Thank you." Ellen said. Dr. Jones picked up a call and frowned. "Paparazzi is all outside and inside. Do you guys want us to try to do something about them or are you okay to walk out?" He asked. Ellen looked at Patrick. "I think we're okay to walk out. I domt know how much you guys could do anyways." Patrick said with a laugh. Ellen hopped off the exam table and with a slight limp, she and Patrick walked out into the lobby where they were immediately bombarded by paparazzi.

Patrick shielded Ellen as best as he could by wrapping an arm around her waist and holding her close, but it didn't work too well. "Ellen! Did everything go well? Are you feeling okay?" Someone yelled. Ellen gave a thumbs up and smiled as she leant into Patrick. Patrick smiled and took more weight off of Ellen by holding her up more.

They finally got to the car and sat down. "Wow." Ellen exclaimed. "Wow is right." Patrick said with a laugh. "You feeling okay?" Patrick asked. "I'm good." Ellen confirmed as she leant over and kissed him softly. Patrick pulled away and kissed her forehead before starting the drive back home. Ellen's house actually.

They got to the house and walked in hand in hand. "I'm gonna take a shower." Ellen said. "Okay. Do you need help or are you good?" Patrick asked. "You tryin' to get me naked?" Ellen asked with a giggle. Patrick smirked. "Do you want me to get you naked?" Patrick retorted. Ellen smiled and rolled her eyes before walking up stairs slowly.

Patrick sat down on the couch and watched some TV when Ellen called down. "Pat!" She yelled. Patrick ran up and knocked on the door before opening it. "What's up, El?" Patrick asked as he tried not to look at her lithe body through the foggy glass of the shower door. "Can you grab me a towel from the closet?" She asked. "Sure." Patrick said. He grabbed a towel and handed it to her when she opened the door slightly.

Ellen wrapped the towel around her body and stepped out. "What are you doing?" Patrick asked with a flustered smile as he looked her up and down. "Getting out of the shower." Ellen replied as she stood up and her tippy toes and pressed a kiss to his mouth. Patrick placed his hands on her waist and kissed her back before wrapping his arms around her. "Let's get you dressed and then we can relax." Patrick said. Patrick handed her a pair of panties and she slipped those on under her towel and then slipped on a pair of sweatpants.

"Bra or no bra?" Patrick asked. "No bra." Ellen said. Patrick handed her one of her sweatshirts, but she pushed it away and started taking off Patrick's sweatshirt without saying anything. Patrick looked at her with a confused expression and smiled. She got the sweatshirt over his head and then started putting it over her head. She got it on, and naturally it was too big, but she didn't care. Patrick smiled and kissed her forehead. "What?" Ellen asked as she noticed his smile. "Nothing. You're just cute." Patrick said. Ellen smiled and then they made their way to the living room, where they sat for the rest of the day curled up in each other's arms.
