there you were, in the hufflepuff common room, cuddled up with cedric. you and cedric have been dating for a while now, he's the best s/o you've probably ever had.
"hey ce" you managed to get out , since you've been quiet for a little while now. you and cedric love to spend time together. silence with him isn't ever .. awkward.
"what's wrong, darling?" he asked, looking at you.
you didn't say anything back. you just looked into his eyes and continued playing with his golden brown hair. you shook your head softly, "oh, it's nothing, i just wanted to say how much i love you.
he couldn't help but smile, "y/n, i love you too, my dear." he told you, placing your head in the crook of his neck, kissing the top of it.
"it's so sweet .. you know . knowing that you love me." you whispered, peppering his neck with a few light kisses.
cedric just sat there, playing with your hair and smiling like a dork, "baby, you sound a bit tired .. are you sure you aren't?" he asked you, in a soft tone.
you rolled your eyes and sat up, looking at him. you and him got into a mini 'argument' because you looked wretched. your hair was a mess, your eye bags were more noticeable than ever. but you insisted that you were. not. tired. when in reality you were, but you wanted to spend time with your boyfriend. "maybe i am." you mumbled, "but. i. am. not. going. to. bed" you said, lightly hitting his chest after every word.
after a while of just .. sitting there with him, you did end up falling asleep.
"let's get you to your dorm, love" he whispered, gently picking you up, making sure he didn't wake you from your slumber.
