You woke up sleeping on a torn jacket that you knew belonged to Ichi.

It was warm and cozy but the six zombies were no where to be seen.

Knight was not anywhere as well, you kept looking around for them in the house.

There still was no signs of exiting or entering.

You sighed softly to yourself, you thought if you waited then they would show up in the afternoon or night.

You sat on the floor as you held Ichi's jacket in your hands.

In your mind, you wondered if they went out looking for food or got interested in something again.

When the afternoon came around, your worries grew more and more.

The sun was still shining but only a little shined through a window.

The sunlight shined on the pumpkins that were on the fireplace.

A sudden feeling of loneliness and worry filled you deeply.

You wrapped the jacket around you as you stood up and grabbed a kitchen knife to defend yourself and a backpack full of supplies.

Exiting the back door of the house, you noticed footprints in the snow that had fallen weeks ago.

You worried and wondered where they were as you followed the footprints.

The knife was in your hand and your caution meter was still high.

It felt like the first time you were alone in the messy and horrifying world that only zombies could live in.

You remembered how you felt like you could trust no one and if you did, they would backstab you for survival.

You sighed once more as you knew that they were somewhere out there but you had no clue.

They probably went looking for food for you but why didn't they tell you beforehand.

You thought quietly to yourself with each step into the snow felt like you were getting closer and yet you couldn't see them.

The cold air blew into your face as you clutched onto Ichi's jacket tightly, trying to keep warm despite the holes in it.

It felt like hours walking while searching for your companions until you heard a wolf growling and barking loudly.

You thought it could be a different wolf and there was a high chance it was a random one.

Although, you took that chance because it could be Knight and when you saw the familiar black fur and clear blue eyes, you felt joy.

The joy feeling did not last long as you saw two men threatening to kill not just Knight but the six zombies too.

You ducked down behind some bushes while keeping watch then when Knight noticed you, you told him to shush with the one finger to your mouth signal.

Knight kept growling and protecting the zombies while you listened to the men words.

The man quietly said, "You guys are zombies like us but why aren't you listening?"

The another one reply, "We just have to kill the ones who don't understand us."

You immediately looked at your knife with anticipation as you clutch it tightly and yelled out, "Knight, the legs!"

Knight immediately biting the man left leg deeply causing him to scream.

The six zombies knew your voice exactly, Oso, Kara, and Choro tackled the other one to the ground.

You jumped up from the bushes to run and stab the man that Knight was biting with the knife.

Once you stabbed him, Knight and your attention turned to the other man who now you noticed up close, wearing a half zombie face.

You looked down at him while he was still being held down to the ground, "Who are you?"

"We aren't just one of who, we are the silence."

That name sounds familiar to you but still he threaten your friends so he was not a nice guy.

Then he continued, still keeping the words in a whisper, "You are going to become a helper, not a Silence. Surviving gets you no where.."

You stared at him as you said coldly, "I know that by now."

Then you stabbed him in the head and the three zombies let him go, knowing that he is dead.

You turned to Knight and the six zombies and told them to follow you back to the house in a cold voice.

As you all walked back, Jyushi said to you, "...Mad?.."

That is when you stopped in your tracks, causing Knight and the six zombies to stop as well.

You said in a soft voice, "I am not mad, I was...."

Tears started falling down your cheeks as you turned around and hugged them all the best you could.

While crying, you continue speaking, "I was worried and scared, I don't know why you all left and almost got killed. Don't do that.."

Oso was the first one to hug you and the others followed after his hug, Knight even curled up next to your feet to hug you too.

Their hugs were meant to tell you that they are there, next to you and somewhat alive.

You kept crying then started smiling while saying, "Thank you, I am so glad that you all are alright. You all are my family after all."
